Hehe. About two posts in I got the image of someone with oxyrush nanites getting a hole the size of a bowling ball blown in their chest and then just tying a tourniquet around their neck.

rotfl.gif Might even be a pretty good idea to tourniquet your neck before the fighting starts.

The glucose issue would come up pretty fast though. It's all about making that ATP.

About an hour, at least according to my molecular biology professor. Have to remember that cells have decent stores of ATP and glucose, and that they can shut down parts of the cell (just like we'd shut down parts of our body) if they start to 'starve'.

Isn't there an Edge that makes a Character Bi-Cardic?
And where am i remembering the decentralized heart from?

Mass Effect? Krogan have two hearts. And secondary nervsystems... and what not else...
Karoline
Maybe the bicardiac metagenic quality?

QUOTE
The character possesses a second heart located in the right half
of his torso that augments the normal heart in maintaining the
cardiovascular system. Bicardiac characters can perform strenuous
exercise for longer periods of time due to increased blood supply
and higher pulse rates that would cause tachycardia in normal
people. They can take a maximum of 8 boxes of Stun or Fatigue
damage instead of the usual 6 (see Fatigue Damage, p. 155, SR4).
Bicardiac is compatible with synthacadium, though only the
cardinal heart can be augmented with bioware.

Very underwhelming I think.
Dahrken
Decentralized heart is an augmentation from Cyberpunk 2020.

Ah, thanks.
