Is it x3 or now x5?
For improving attributes, the cost in SR4A is the new attribute rating x 5

Skills the same? Or jsut attributes?
That's just for attributes, skills have their own metric, based on whether you're buying knowledge skills (x1), active skills (x2), or skill groups (x5).

On page 4 (3 of 3) of the Changes Reference Document, in the Running the Shadows section, after Sleep Deprivation, the next few lines read:
• The Karma Awards Table has been adjusted slightly as follows:
• The Karma cost of increasing Attributes has been raised from
(New Rating) x3 to (New Rating) x5
This was confusing to me at first, as they have flip-flopped on this rule. It's now back to the way it was initially. Good job, Catalyst!
