Yeah that's too bad. I know that Mike Pondsmith who created Cyberpunk and RTalslorian Games worked for Fasa Design Studios. He worked on that funky flying game that came out.....Crimson Skys. I don't know what he's doing now but those guys at Micro$oft seemed not to like alot of his ideas about creating a video game.
Fasa had some really AWSOME scenery that Sam Lewis brought down from Chicago. Entire city blocks done to scale and perfectly modeled. The only company that has anything close would be Games Workshop studios. I'd love to find out who made that stuff.
Speaking of old Shadowrun Stuff what happened to all the old 1st edition books? Any reference to where they went? That should should be rerealeased in electronic form.....Some of the old books were really nice.

Incidentally, I met him recently. And that's my fanboy story. I met Mike Pondsmith. But I specifically went out of my way to *not* meet William Shatner.

The Admin in question is one year my senior, but will remain nameless for the time being, as he or she may be getting to the stage where public airing of their age might cause some embarrasment.

I turn 49 this year. My son gets on these boards, and is now GMing for his classmates in high school. Last week I pointed out three brown dice to him and said, "These dice rolled up my character 'Brillo' in 1978."

It is either Spudman(can't find age), Jestyr(women are usually more touchy about age, and I can't find her age) or ThatPaolo(but he aint really that old yet, only in his 40s)
The rest are in twenties or early 30s.

Elementary, my dear.

Started playing in '77 with D and D boxed set, picked up SR in '89 and played it (GM'ed) in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War. Just celebrated my 39th birthday, so been at it a hefty chunk of my life.

I can vouch that it is not spudman, he happens to be around my own age, and I'm not old. Though I have been playing SR since just before SR2 came out. ANd just remember not everyone tell the truth in their profiles.

been RPG-ing since I was 13- 1992; started with D&D and Star Frontiers. SR just for the last year or so. However, we have a 2nd generation of characters in our group. One of our players gave herself a dependant about 6 years ago who 'ran away from military school' only to run as her PC in their next campaign. He 'disappeared into the shadows' so to speak and wasn't heard from for a while, only to turn up as an NPC in an adventure for another set of characters. The person who ran him as an NPC now plays him full time. That character has recently becoem engaged to another '2nd generation' runner; the adopted daughter of a PC from a recent campaign (my character, Lily). I'm just waiting for them to have kids who grow up to be runners
