I do not mean to be a rules nazi, but as soon as you add something with its own damage value does that not mean that you are no longer using Critical strike, and killing hands?

Don't be silly, naga-nuyen: these are people specifically trying to stack powers to cheese up ever more deadly characters. biggrin.gif

LMAO, i am finding making effective runners easy enough. I do not need to do all that much Mini maxi.... i tell you what, i am nothing to look at in real life, even when i was in great shape in the army...and we as a team were highly lethal..... these runners make what we did look like we were toddlers playing adult games down range.

I have fun with what is provided by RAW. I love alot of the posters here because my straight laced thinking does not allow me to think out side the box all that much. And it is nice having a hobby again, this was fun years ago, and it is still fun for me now!

The best thing about Fashion is that it can't change the protective value of the clothing.

Personally, I think the best part of the Fashion spell is that one of my player's character has a fetish for the spell in the shape of a gift card. grinbig.gif

There is stuff about weapon Foci, but nothing about unarmed and weapon focus. It does kill the idea that the Tiger shapeshifter takes a delta bio tattoo of a Tiger that covers his whole body. And enchant the dye to work as one large weapon focus. We thought it would be cool; it would be a 3D style art, and would cover his entire body, with its claws tapering out to his feet and hands. When he changes most of it would be under his fur, but around his head it would take a scary effect of seeing a blurred double image of the tiger as it Om noms on your body!

Except how when you get implants as a shifter they are useless in humanoid form.

If you're already breaking the weapon focus rules, you might as well break the shifter rules. smile.gif

Yeah we knew it would not function in his Humanoid form, but he wants to play both sides of the character. He thought that giving the tiger form a little more power for attacking would negate losing the armor bonus in human form.

But we have gone a different path, he still kept the tattoo, but no need for the focus. Instead he took Geas, and we created a negative quality of OCD (minor =-5, mild=-10, major=-15), and the Geas was for ritual geas concerning cleaning (he is a cat). It gives him a little more power in his adept powers (he used it for improved reflexes level 3)

There's already a Compulsive quality in Runner's Companion which pretty much matches that exactly in terms of points. Should give you a good baseline as to how much to play it up for each level.
