It's why cell phones aren't actually dangerous to your brain.

Sorry for leaving out the footnotes.
For starters, cell phones use non-ionizing radiation, which doesn't affect cells or tissue. It also doesn't use an oscillating field like microwave ovens do, plus cell phones are like three or four orders of magnitude less intense than even a small home microwave.
The "heat imaging" pictures are kinda silly, too. They show a guy's head before and after a 15-minute conversation on a cell phone. What they fail to show is the same guy after holding a powered-off cell phone against his head for fifteen minutes. Both the talking and non-talking "after" pictures would look the same.
But you don't have to take my word for it ...
It would seem that the most damage you could to your brain with a cell phone is by reading celebrity tweets. Or having someone bash your head in with one.
Anyway, to keep this at least slightly on-topic, this would be why Shadowrun doesn't have rules for a Damage Code for wireless use.

Ok, so not to go a different direction than the effects (or lack thereof) of EMP weapons on the (meta)human brain, but I was thinking - has there been a vehicle based supplement, or anything with a focus on vehicles, for Shadowrun 4e? Somebody mentioned Rigger 3, but I think thats 3e and so not really what I need. I'm looking, primarily, for vehicle mods and base vehicles beyond those presented in the core book and Arsenal.
Also, I was thinking about some homebrewed mods for ground vehicles (well, cars) and wanted to see what you think. So far I've been working on aero mods - body kits, diffusers, fans, that sort of thing. Body kits could be, as I see it, purely stylistic (which would do nothing, stats wise), designed to produce downforce (which would increase handling, and maybe reduce speed), designed to reduce drag (which would increase speed, but do nothing, or maybe decrease, handling, or designed to reduce drag and increase downforce (which wouldn't increase handling or speed as much as a single purpose design, but wouldn't hurt either stat). Diffusers and Fans would work solely to increase downforce, without having any negative aspects. Also, spoilers, which increase downforce at the expense of speed.
I'm not sure what numbers to put to the various ratings of the various modifications, but do you think they are sound in principle?

I think that purely cosmetic Body kit can be covered by the "pimped ride" mod.
For more detailed mods, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. Most high-performance cars would already integrate some amount of then so you will have to decide on a case-by-case how much can be added, the Handling won't be affected unless the car moves fast enough - but how fast is "enough" ? - things like diffusers and fans would be utterly silly with other modifications like off-road suspension, and on many cars unless you lower them significatively - and what would be the impact of that on other games stats ?
SR4 vehicular rules are not designed as a car race simulator, and introducing this kind extra stuff would be IMHO difficult to balance and integrate cleanly.

Yeah, you're probably right. Just an idea I had.
