Has anyone done anything with pre-prepared door blasting charges?

I have a gluesprayer and I was thinking of having a steel cone filled with Plastic and glue it to a door. Once the charges are set off, the door (hopefully) fails before the glue does and blasts a hole in the door.

Didn't read through the entire thread, but a fun idea I had awhile back was to have a mage place a physical barrier (in dome form) over the explosive. Using the 'chunky salsa' rules, whatever is underneath will get turned to juice. Of course, the dome probably won't hold *all* of the damage, but the guys on the inside will still take significantly more.

Edit: Looking over the example (pg 156 SR4A), the damage is added together before it is actually dealt, so the barrier would contain the blast.

Those rules are trash, though. smile.gif
