Small problem with yoru description, there: Motoko's not lesbian. (There's one episode where she propositions boy of 13 or 14 ...!! O_o )

I suspect Motoko's sexuality is "if it's past the onset of puberty and not yet in the grave, it's fair game" - regardless of gender, or lack thereof.

There are some embarassing aspect of his work that seems to get censored in the mainstream releases.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now my most anticiated game... ever. Ever ever.

Cyberpunk is what's its all about. It's where I started roleplaying. Mike managed to fuck it all up with a 10 year wait for a crap game, but now someone else has the reigns* the proposition is thrilling. I read that they're thinking of re-releasing the pnp to go with it, and writing off v3 as a cybergen style alternate world.

If you're referring to GitS ... eh, mostly it's cultural. IIRC, the age of consent in Japan is 13. So even that scene I referred to, while it would be remarked upon for it's unusual-ness, it wouldn't be as shocking there, as it is here in the West.

I meant more how people who watched the old GitS movie thought it was all this artsy philosophical stuff about AI, cyberware, etc.

I know, but it's exciting and frustrating at the same time! I've been waiting for a Cyberpunk PC game since I was 15. The fact that it's being done, and by a reputable company, is frickin' awesome. I just want excitement and speculation.

There have been rumours of a new pnp Cyberpunk 2077 book to tie in with the game. This excites me more than the game itself, nostalgia being what it is.

You realize that if it's a tie in, it will be released in 2015 like the computer game probably?

The best bit, right now available only in Polish: the localization will have an in-game mechanic. So, no translation convention that everybody speaks English, and subtitles for foreign language will depend on the level of your Linguasoft. A similar solution was used in "Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction", where each playable character conveniently knew one NPC faction language, enabling subtitles for conversation in that language (the Technoviking knew Russian, the sniper chick knew Chinese and the marine knew Korean).
