I've used the mythweavers before and it's pretty good. I do like that if you name your GM, they can edit the sheet as well. These days though I'm really in love with Chummer and just email the file for that if asked.
Yeah, Chummer is absolutely my choice now - I used to use...Daegunns? Something like that. But Chummer works better, and I found an Android app that allows you to import Chummer files, which is handy as heck.
My main goal was creating a version that I could access while waiting for something official here.

Also, I found a Werewolf game on Myth Weavers that I'm applying for, so bonus!

Hey Makato!
Right now we are full here (with one other on a reserve list), I'm afraid.

lore, I took a peek at the other forum and I can say the skin design is great.
If you are looking for a game you could check out the 2072 thread
here and the OoC thread
here. We're always looking for players and GMs. I've got a couple of other games on the go that are also open for recruitment all the time, and you don't have to read the entire IC thread to join.

I will probably kick off the IC within a week or so.
If you like, you could also start thinking about some things you might do in the meantime. From throwing out random ideas to elaborate plans... everything goes!

As I said initially, the goal is not to have traditional runs (i.e. Johnson tells you want to do and pays you for it) all the time, but also (ideally, mostly) have runs coming from your own initiative, where you do not get paid, but rather gain your "income" through whatever you achieve (the most simple form, obviously, is stealing something and selling it on the black market). Kinda like a "small scale" Ocean's Eleven, for example.

Perhaps we should start by stealing something we can use as well? Most of us are mundane so 'ware is always good. I have a contact with a drone shop if you'd like to do drones. Otherwise, maybe we should steal something that might give us a little street cred but not too much, I'd rather not paint a huge target on my back this early.

Such a small task to steal something physical like cyberware. Data is the way to go. Easier to conceal and more valuable.

But data is not nearly as much fun to look at and carry around.

Data is definitely doable but I always like to have a buyer lined up. Anyone got a contact that could sell it discretely? I guess we could as well but that seems like asking for trouble to me. Quite ironic being a saying that and being a shadowrunner though. We'd need someone for the 'ware as well.

At least two of us have fixers.

And I have a fair amount of knowledge skill points invested in fencing (the stuff, not the combat art).

Well I'm not biased one way or another for independant heists, atm my character has only one goal at that is to get out of the debt he's in so he'll be up for pretty much anything short of pure wetwork.
If we do go after Data though, I have a fixer who may be of use, he's an information specialist.
Btw since we're supposed to know each other what do we want to go with, common backgrounds, grew up as kids together, met in passing, bar buddies, past business dealings, shared hobbies?
I'm putting up a quick background synopsis that might help us work on that side of things.
Michael aka Burn was a corpkid. He lived in the corp apartments, went to corp school etc... He really didnt get his first taste of freedom until he went to to college at U-Dub. From college he was recruited by an intelligence agency where he worked for just a bit shy of 10 years before **** hit the fan and he bailed.
He's always lived in Seattle, currently he has a large apartment in Renton. He likes going out and having a good time, but knows when to call it a night. and has an interest in old and vintage motorcycles.

I'm fine with either. By preference, if we go after Data, I'd like it to be locked inside a building.

I'll do the same.
Jaro's life before goblinizing was standard corp, and his story after is pretty standard too - he changed, his parents couldn't handle the new him (being a Satyr certainly didn't help), and he ended up on the streets. He stole, hustled, and ran from the Star. He eventually fell in with a gang, learned some skills, and then caught the attention of a local mage, who trained him. He's in his early 20's, so he's been in the shadows for 8-9 years, about half those as an actual Runner. He mostly slums it in the Ork Underground between jobs (he tends to spend all his Nuyen about as fast as he makes it).

I'd prefer to pick up some new toys but I'm fine with anything, as long as we're getting payed.
Here's a quick blurb about mine. Once we have all five, it should be easy to think of some connections.
Kenneth Wu was your average on-site corporate rigger. He struggled with haphephobia all of his life until he was unleashed from his body by a cyberdeck. Doing what he could to avoid direct contact with others he took jobs that involved controlling drones and rigging transports throughout the city. Then the Crash 2.0 occurred and Kenneth's identity was wiped from all databases. This was both a blessing and a curse for him: he was able to get away with much less direct contact but finding work also became a lot harder. A few years later, Kenneth found himself rigging a couple transports through the outskirts when he found himself under attack by go-gang. Luckily, he'd brought a couple party favors for protection and along with some careful driving was able to escape. Little did he know that the client was actually a fixer named Raymond Chen and that the cargo was quite valuable to whomever he'd been hired by. A large bonus and the offer of even more nuyen later has kept Kenneth working small jobs with Raymond since. He now goes by the name Soft Touch and is able to afford to stay out of direct contact with others, preferring to send an android in his place when necessary.

I dont actually know where we stand on players I was just guessing that from lack of posts from Hudson and Scarecrow, and the uncertainty that Aria will step up from the waiting list to play.
Though I'd suggest PM'ing Thanee for a possible quicker response
(having a character ready to go might help

There was also a PM from another interested player.

So, on the road to finalizing K.Wagner (night-one combat hacker extraordinaire with knowledge of 21st century comic books and a specialization in the X-Men!) with Thanee. He can shoot straight, hack pretty well, put that nifty new gas-vent IV on your gun for you, and can take duty as the cook with fairly good results. At this point, this is what I have figured out with his history. Also, I kept my contacts fairly generic, an arms dealer, a mechanic and a fixer that specializes in Matrixy things (though if that's too broad, I'll be narrowing him down to a data broker of some variety).
Gerard knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. Like his dad, and his dad before him, etc., Gerard felt the call to duty and enlisted with the UCAS Army as soon as he was of age. He did well in his aptitude testing and ended up assigned to an electronic warfare unit attached to a mechanized infantry battalion. Always happy to learn new things, he put in time with the other troops in the battalion and over the course of his nine years in held a number of odd jobs in the battalion. The joke among leadership was that if you needed someone to fill a hole, Gerard was your man since he'd either read the manual or had been trained.
A promising career came to a halt mid-mission for Gerard. While coordinating artillery and jamming enemy communications, Gerard SURGEd and changed into a night-one. This, in of itself, wasn't a big deal. But his commlink being active while blacked out and the enemy having their communications capabilities back proved lethal for the battalion. The opposing force managed to hack his link and send out orders for artillery to drop on the battalion. At an eighty percent casualty rate, Gerard's career was sunk. The only thing that kept him out of a court martial was the fact that his failure wasn't his fault. With a dishonorable discharge permanently attached to his SIN, work became hard to find. After flailing and struggling to make a decent, legitimate living, Gerard started running the shadows and gained a reputation as a matrix guy that could hold his own in a fire or fist fight.
