Berry Punch
Stark stumbles over to Church still holding her side, wincing a little with each step. "Ben, that's enough!" She tries to kick him off of the man. Before hearing the clerk and turning to him. "We just saved your ass from these goons....argh...so why don't you put down that shotgun. I don't feel like getting shot twice today." Her eyes dimming in color to a low dark green.
Xahn Borealis
Church eventually ceases his pounding, sitting on his haunches and breathing hard as he struggles to contain the beast. He looks up at Strife, his great fists stained with blood. "Keira... let us leave this place..."

The clerk whimpers and drops the shotgun, putting his own hands up. "Take whatever you want... j-just don't kill anyone else, please!"
Berry Punch
Stark looks at the man annoyed, holstering her pistol. "Look, we're not here to cause trouble. Clearly these idiots were." She gestures to Church. "We...well, HE just wanted to buy food. If I had allowed them to continue who knows how many of these people would be harmed or worse. So just calm down" She makes her way over to the thug with one arm left.
Xahn Borealis
A heavyset dwarf woman suddenly pops up beside the clerk, scowling at you. "You're the one who started cutting people up and blowing them away!" Her shrieking voice grates on your nerves. If you had cybernetic cutoffs in your ears, you'd be turning them to full right now.

Crank lies on the ground beside Strife, teeth gritted in pain.Church sighs and takes in the sight of destruction and bloodshed all around.
"This will not be simple to walk away from."
Berry Punch
Stark scowls back at the pudgy little woman, her eyes shift to a deep red. "Yes, I AM the one who saved your asses from those four chipheads. You're welcome by the way. You're lucky all they managed to do was blow a hole in the wall and not your head!" She picks Crank up by his stump of an arm. "Why don't we ask THIS guy what him and his friends were trying to accomplish here shall we?" She motions for Church to come over.
Xahn Borealis
The woman blanches at Strife's words, shrinking back down behind the counter and dragging the clerk down beside her.

Church staggers to his feet, looking down at Crank, who cries out in pain as his arm is moved.
"I will heal you and make the pain go away if you talk." His voice is flat and devoid of emotion, as he is punishing himself inside. Bear pities him for his loss of control moments before.

Berry Punch
"Ben, just do it, we need to make this quick, I don't wanna be here when the Lone Star show up."
Xahn Borealis
Crank sits up and looks down at the floor, resentment and pain in his voice. "Fine. I'll talk. What do you wanna know, slitch?"
Berry Punch
Stark's eyes start to shift into a glowing bright red color at Crank's comment. She balls her hand into a fist and strikes him in the jaw. "Name calling isn't nice, fucknut. Now tell me why you and your dead friends busted up this place and ruined my friend's dinner before I take the other arm too."
Xahn Borealis
Crank flinches and yelps out, more with shock at the punch than pain. He glares up at Strife and moves his jaw around a little. "Smash and grab. Some elf woman, had knowing 'bout some paydata. Bozo hacker over there," He indicates the beaten remains of Joeby, "Wuz meant to blow her car while she wuz in it! Fragger got us all in the drek..."
Berry Punch
Stark looks a little surprised at Crank's response, figuring this was just a stereotypical convenience store robbery. She turns to Church with a stern look. "We need to find this woman Church, she may be hurt...or worse. There could be more than just these chipheads after her." She then turns back to Crank with a slight grin. "You've been very helpful, now you just sit tight and wait for your Lone Star friends to come pick you up." She then looks around the store, sifting through debris to find any trace of the aforementioned elven woman.
Xahn Borealis
Crank grunts and turns to pick up the blood covered mess that used to be attached to his elbow. "Crazy slitch..." Church nods in reply to Strife. "Ja, I will do what I can to help these people, but we must go soon. There has been too much bloodshed already..."

As Strife searches for a trace of any survivors, a moan of pain is heard from under a toppled shelf. A weak hand slowly reaches out.
Berry Punch
Stark smirks as she hears the clearly broken man before Church speaks up. "I know, Ben, I didn't come here to cause trouble tonight despite what you and everyone else here seem to think. How am I the bad guy for trying to protect this......ugh, forget it!!" She notices the hand reaching out. Surprised, she immediately runs over to help. "Church, we got a live one over here!" Stark motions for Church before slowly lifting the shelf off of the person to avoid hurting them more.
Xahn Borealis
Church makes his way over and helps move the shelf off her, as she groans faintly, blood leaking from a wound on her forehead. Her legs are crushed under a different shelf which has fallen over. She is clearly in need of serious medical attention, fast. Church frowns and slowly hefts the second shelving unit of her broken legs, grunting with exertion.

[ Spoiler ]

Church strains and attempts to move the shelf off the woman, but his violent outburst against Joeby a few minutes earlier have weakened him, not to mention the spellcasting he's been doing. "Keira, help me with this."
Berry Punch
"Right..on it." Stark makes her way over and tries to help lift the shelf, straining to, groaning out in pain from her wound. "Argh....fuck...that guy got me good...this is gonna hurt...for a while...we got this...she needs help." She struggles to lift the shelf off of the poor woman.

[ Spoiler ]
Xahn Borealis
Strife and Church are unable to lift the shelf, even with their great combined strength. The fight was just too much for them. The woman whimpers with fear and grief as Church lays a hand on her shoulder and gives a sigh. "I am sorry. Would you like something for the pain?" She nods slowly, and he begins to grip her shoulder, not too tight. Once again, he calls on Bear's healing magic and asks him to silence the woman's screaming legs.

[ Spoiler ]

The woman's body releases magically-boosted endorphins in her legs, dulling the pain somewhat.

[ Spoiler ]

Church feels his own legs throb in sympathy with the woman's, as Bear asks him to take on some of her burden.
Berry Punch
Stark yells out in in frustration as they fail to lift the shelf off of the poor woman. The two winded from the fight. "God damn it!! We have to get this off of her, she's losing too much blood!". She falls on her knees as the adrenaline from the fight finally dissipates, the pain from her wound fully setting in. She clutches her side, gritting her teeth. "We...have to get her...out. Lone Star is gonna be here any minute..."
Xahn Borealis
The woman tries to pull herself out from under the shelf, but it's no good; her legs are pinned down. Even with Church working his spell on her, she lets out groans of pain. "This is all... that bastard K-Spot's fault... that damn chip..." She whines quietly as her arms slowly slip out from under her, her head injury causing her to pass out.
Berry Punch
Stark struggles, getting up and trying to lift the shelf once more desperate to save this poor woman. She can't even make the shelf budge. Screaming out as every attempt only causes more pain to herself. She stares straight into the woman's eyes as she utters her last words. "No no no no!!! Ben, do something now!!! Anything!!!" She gets up and throws a food display to the side in a fit of rage, unable to save the woman. "GOD DAMN IT!!!!"
Xahn Borealis
Church immediately drops the painkilling spell and switches to a powerful healing spell. As he channels mana through his hands and into the woman, Bear lets out a long, low growl that grows into a cry of rage, daring Fate to take her out of his great paws. Bear's Mask obscures his face as he lets his roar be heard, the grizzly's teeth bared in a furious grimace.

[ Spoiler ]

Church screams with futile despair as the woman's vitality fizzles into nothingness, Bear's anger now turned against him for his failure. He shrieks out as Bear sinks his jaws into his neck, throwing his hands to the invisible wound and falling to the ground, before all at once the mighty teeth are gone and he lies on the floor of the Stuffer Shack, breathing hard and bleeding from the eyes.
Berry Punch
Stark's eyes turn a bright orange, filled with rage and fury as she strikes another food stand. Memories of her late mother flash in her mind. Horrible torture, brutal pain and suffering. At this moment she resolves to get to the bottom of what happened here tonight and maybe bring the poor woman's spirit some peace. Ignoring all of the random people who survived the fight poking their heads out and looking on she makes her way to Church and helps him up. "Get up, Ben, now. We're leaving."
Xahn Borealis
The Stuffer Shack's assorted patrons simply stare wide-eyed at the scene, slowly realising that these two people are real shadowrunners, or just as dangerous. If that wasn't enough, the open and intense use of magic quickly makes it apparent that Something Big is happening tonight. PanicButtons are frantically pressed as sirens approach from the distance. Church slaps a stim patch on his neck and offers one to Strife, leaning on her as they limp through the twisted and scorched remains of the windows and step over bodies on their way out into the Seattle night.

Innocent people died this night, and those not so innocent. Out of the survivors, these two have but one question. Why.
Berry Punch
Strife takes the stim patch and does the same, holding her side as she walks. Picking up the guns used by the thugs, she looks back and yells to the dwarf woman and clerk hiding behind the counter and motions to Crank. "Keep your shotgun aimed at this scum, I want him taken by Lone Star for what he caused. If I found out he was let go I WILL be back. He's lucky I don't kill him right now..." She winces as the two leave the store and make their way into the night away from the Stuffer Shack.

==End Scenario==
=Graceful Log-Off=

Well, that's that done. I kept mucking up everywhere, while Berry did all the hard work (and got all the lucky rolls too >_>). Now, Church and Strife will be heading to some safehouse to lie low and continually lament their lack of a hacker to clean up their mess. It's likely we'll find another player to sort that for us, who'll probably end up shouting at me for being a crappy GM.

I'll leave this thread open for any comments now, let me know what you think! ♥
