Nikoli
Ikarus examines the walls in detail, without touching the surface.
Shadow
"Ok, Lynx get to work on that panel, Corbin get these bodies in here." I had to smile at the butterfly collection of bodies we were trailing behind us.
Nikoli
In a nervous tone Ikarus says quietly,"Can, um, anyone think of a reason why traction would need to be increased on the wall? Cause that's what these dimples look like."
Soluna
"Maybe they get bored and climb the walls," Lynx jokes.
Shadow
"It probably had to do with the vats you disabled. Maybe it was acid and these walls are resistant. Either way we ned that palm reader bypassed, can you do it?"
Soluna
"Piece of cake, dear. I have the gear and the guard." Lynx pulls out her maglock passkey, takes the panel off the keypad and hooks it up. Then she places the guard's hand on the panel, making sure to keep her fingers out of the way. She pops the door open a crack and tries to survey the room.
Shadow
"You rock baby. Corbin, Slash, in position."
Dashifen
@Lynx
You can't see too much when you open the door. The room you're looking into has an upper and lower floor. The door you opened leads out onto a catwalk that appears to run around the outside of the room. The center of the "floor," however, is an open hole. A staircase leads down directly in front of the door.

You can hear the sound of at least two people in the room.
TinkerGnome
Corbin wipes his sweaty palms, one by one, on his pants. Over the comm he notes, "Remind me never to take securty work somewhere with palm readers. These guys are going to be sore later," he notes.
Soluna
Lynx edges back and whispers, "We're above them! Corbin go in on your belly while I hold the door open a little for you and pick them off. Trace, deal with the elemental if you have to."
Nikoli
Ikarus unstraps his skateboard and hands it to Corbin
TinkerGnome
Corbin waves off the skateboard and unstraps his camo cloak, letting it fall free around him as he readies his taser. He nods once and slides through the door, his narrow elven frame offset by his bulky gear.
Dashifen
@Corbin
As you slide onto the corrogated steel catwalk above the main floor of the room you can hear the sounds of conversation below. The main floor is only about 3.5 meters below and when you creep to the edge of the catwalk you can easily make out the two people below, both human; one male, one female. Watching them for a moment you can see them slotting credsticks into some form of large computer terminal that sits between them on the table. There is a second table behind them with a similar terminal that is unoccupide. You can also see two large vaults on the far wall from your position.

Prudent as always, you draw your taser and fire twice, once at each of the two people. Both shots hit their mark, zapping the accountants into unconsciousness. The smoking darts remain lodged in the chest of the man and the back shoulder of the woman as they slump over the table and onto the terminal, the man dropping a credstick to the floor.
Nikoli
Ikarus seeing Corbin fire takes in the room, noting the small details and the terminal.
Dashifen
@Ikarus
The terminal seems like some form of data storage. Noting the credsticks lined up on either side of the terminal, now disturbed by the unconscious forms of the two gym employees, you assume that this is probably the electronic vault for electronic bets and wagers. Course, it could also be the clubs storage for hidden cameras in the locker rooms ..... only one way to find out!

TinkerGnome
As the second form slumps, Corbin's voice comes over the comm. "Clear." He slinks along the catwalk, keeping his eye out for other entrances, cameras, or other potential security issues.
Soluna
"Hold still everyone!" Lynx says as she stands in the doorway and scans the room.
paul_HArkonen
Sliding forward Slash's movements are smooth and under control.
Soluna
Lynx makes her way slowly across the catwalk and crounches down at the top of the stairs. She surveys the room again.
TinkerGnome
"Wasn't there a spook hangin' around?" Corbin's voice comes over the comm. He is already inside the room, crouching on the catwalk, virtually invisible. He slides two more darts into his taser, just in case something decides to manifest.
Nikoli
Ikarus does as he is told, sits tight and tries his best to remain chill.
Soluna
"Yes, but as long as he stays in magic limbo land that's fine with me. Trace, what might cause our friend to drop in on us?"
Dashifen
@Lynx
You creep your way towards the stairs moving to get an angle on any security features that may be underneat the catwalk. As you approach the stairs you see what you were worried about: there is a camera stationed below the door facing the vaults and the tables.

@Corbin
On the guards' radio fequency: "Max, are you at your post? I repeat, are you at your post?"
Soluna
"Trace, I need to be unseeable for a little bit, can you arrange that? Slash grab my ankles before he does that, so you can hold me while I lean over the edge." Lynx lays on her stomach at the edge of the catwalk and waits for Trace to do his thing.
TinkerGnome
Over the comm once more, Corbin's digitized voice comes once more. "Tick tock. They're looking for their guard again. Sounds like they're getting urgent."
Soluna
"Can you reply and stall them?" Lynx asks as she waits for Trace to give the nod that she's invisible.
TinkerGnome
Corbin's voice answers back, "I can try."

He switches frequencies and sends back, "Max here, nature called, be back in five."
Dashifen
@Lynx
Trace concentrates for a moment and then mumbles, "Vanish," under his breath. Waving a hand in your direction, he blinks for a moment and then nods. "You're clear," he says with a smirk.

@Corbin
The radio crackles, but there's no reply from the guards.
Soluna
"Quite literally, I guess," she grins back. Clutching her tool kit in her hand she motions for Slash to lower her over the edge of the catwalk in front of the camera. She opens the tool kit to pull out a screw driver to remove the plate on the camera. Using those, and a lot of ab muscles, she leans toward the camera to remove the plate and get to the good stuff.
TinkerGnome
Again, Corbin's voice comes over the com. "Yeah, there's no way they bought that. Incoming soon.

He loosens his predator in its holster, but keeps the taser in hand, just in case, as he crouches wrapped in his stealth cloak.
Nikoli
Noticing the loosening of weapons, Ikarus shifts his grip on the skateboard, to a slightly more defensive stance.
Oh drek! Oh drek! Oh drek! Oh drek! Oh drek! Oh drek! Oh fragging drek! Okay Ik, calm down, no need to panic. These are professionals, they know how to handle themselves, they know you're a propeller head, not a fighter. Oh drek, oh drek, oh drek. Remember, never strike with the board, let them come to you. Follow through with the swing and don't over extend.
Dashifen
@All
Soluna leans down over the catwalk with Slash securing her legs. Bending herself at the waist she works upside down on the camera for a little over a minute before she sits up and slash pulls her back up. With the camera's plate between her lips, she smiles and winks.

@Corbin
You hear muffled sounds from behind the door at the other end of the hallway.

TinkerGnome
Corbin growls over the comm, "Company's here. Moving to intercept." As he finishes the transmission, he moves closer to the door with his taser ready and his stealth cloak draped about him. He takes up a likely position and prepares to handle anything coming through the door in a shocking fashion.
Soluna
"Shit! Hang on..." Lynx moves to the door that they came through to the vault room, leaving it open, and takes the panel off the maglock pad and hand reader. She starts pulling wires out and cutting them. "Ok, everyone in," she says as she moves back inside the room and pulls the door close behind her. "That should stall them a little while. Corbin cover the door. Ikarus, get jacked in and get the electronic money. Trace watch for mumbo jumbo shit that they may throw at us. And Slash help me get the credsticks from the vaults. Let's be quick!"
paul_HArkonen
twitching slightly at Coribin's warning, Slash moves to folow Lynx, his finger twitching on the hilt of his blade.
Nikoli
Once inside Ikarus scans the room for a jack.
Dashifen
@Ikarus
Looking around quickly from the catwalk, it looks like there are jacks built into the electronics that the two employees were using as you walked into the room.
Nikoli
Breathing a deep sigh of relief Ikarus makes connection using a cord retrieved from his pocket with the system and waits for the handshake.
It's about time, I've been offline for at least 4 hours. Calm Ik, calm. You don't want to look like some civi in front of the hardliners. It's a short trip from perceived teammate to team liability. You lose it now and you aren't walking out. Focus, login, get the data, get out. Nothing fancy, no playing around, no tagging.
Dashifen
@Icarus
The physical world fades from your eyes and the cares of the world seem to drain away as you bring yourself online with the gym's host. You find yourself ouside a large concrete building in a black, empty space. The building has ceramic blue tile from the "ground" up to about the height of your legs with a yellow-orange row on top. The rest of it appears to be plaster. The roof is red tile. Before an obvious door stands two overweight, bald human men in brown robes. They bar you passage into what you recognize as a Roman bath.

@Lynx & Slash
Running down from the catwalk, you step carefully around the the prone forms of the two employees. There are some credsticks strewn about the tables and floor and you can see three large boxes capable of holding a couple hundred sticks each on the floor at the end of the one table. Along the far wall across from the door is the safe. It has a ten digit keypad on the front next to a large, vertical handle.
Soluna
"Slash, gather up the loose credsticks and put them in a box. I'm gonna get started working on the safe."
Dashifen
@Lynx
In less than a minute you have the faceplate of the lock off and the sequencer correctly attached. Hitting the execute button, the sequencer springs to life and begins to run through the numbers. It runs for about a minute before returning no response and the safe remains locked. Luckily, this doesn't seem to destroy the lock and it looks like you still might be able to hotwire it.

@Icarus
The enuchs don't even seem to notice as you slink behind them and into the bath. When you enter, your virtual senses are assaulted by lavender and jasmine. The steam of the baths must be scented somehow. There are other bathing icons about you in various stages of undress and, in true Roman fashion, there seems to be no seperation of the sexes. The only odd part seems to be the inclusion of the metaraces in the icon library of the host as there are a somewhat varied array of humans, orks, and elves in the baths at the moment. You can see more enuch icons at the intersections of bath-house hallways as you begin to twist the host's data into serving up the location of the electronic betting funds within.
Soluna
"Frack!" Lynx says when the sequencer doesn't work. She pulls out her tool kit and sets to hotwiring.
Dashifen
@Icarus
Your prescence in the bathhouse has not gone unnoticed. You twist the host's data streams into revealing the location of the "vault" files, but in doing so, an icon of the Roman god Mars comes around the corner and approaches you quickly. Drawing his red sword, he moves into attack.

@Lynx
After messing with some wires for about two more minutes you've hopeless complicated matters and the little light on the front of the panel has turned off. Closer inspection shows that you've cut power to the lock somehow.

@All
You can hear the sounds of pounding on the vault door. Looks like they discovered Lynx's little electronic manipulation of the door locks and are trying to break the door down.
Soluna
"Corbin, Trace...we need more time down here. Don't let them thru!" She drops the wires and out of sheer curiosity she pulls on the handle to safe. No electricity no lock...right?
Dashifen
@Soluna
The door resists for a moment, the lock might have a backup battery or something, but comes open as you give it a harder tug. Inside you can see an additional 5 boxes of credsticks similar to the empty boxes you and Slash noticed earlier.
Dashifen
@Ikarus
Thinking quickly, you duck into a side door and channelling the code of the matrix you warp the architecture causing the door to disappear. Before you, a bath, bubbling with heat, and filled with three nymph-like icons who beckon enticingly for you as you enter.
Nikoli
Taking in the three lovelies in the bath, Ikarus thinks to himself, This has to be a trap., and begins analyzing the situation again.
Dashifen
@Ikarus
You pause for a moment in concentration. Shortly, a small icon with mercurial winged sandals arrives with a small scroll. It flies toward you and spins, opening the scroll so you can read the scroll:

Orange-11/16/16/13/13/14
Alert Status: None.
Current Tally: 11

The icon pauses for a moment, and then glances at a small sundial on its wrist. Gasping, it rolls up the scroll and pops out of existence.
Dashifen
@Ikarus
The bubbling, scented water of the bath begins to flow over the sides and surround you. It seems the water of the bath itself is a seperate icon than than the nymphs.
Nikoli
Trusting to luck, Ikarus begins downloading the banking file, hoping to be able to get out before too many folks notice.
