[Assuming Roulette has the phone or is given it:]

"He's unconscious, but unhurt. Though he may be tipsy when he wakes," Roulette replies, watching Jason as she speaks. "Getting him completely alone proved problematic, and a friend of his was also stunned. But taking Jason then was wiser than earlier: his 'friend' Kimura is an initiate. Interesting, for a supposed college student."

Ms. Johnson
"It is unfortunate that one of his friends got caught up in his extraction, but I suppose unavoidable. Yes, it is interesting that Kimura is an initiate. I guess that gives weight to Jason's parents' concerns. I'll have to have someone do a more in depth investigation of him."

The phone goes dead leaving Roulette to wait.

After waiting the promised 10 minutes, Ms. Johnson enters the cabana. She takes a quick look at Jason and leaves without a word.

The group members glance at each other. Jacob shrugs and they wait.

Five minutes later Ms. Johnson returns with two people in tow. The woman, presumably Jason's mother, runs over to Jason and hold's him in her arms. The man follows and stands over his wife.

Ms. Johnson walks to the other side of the room and motions for the team to join her. When everyone joins her:

"I'm going to have to spend some time taking care of things here so I can't talk much. I'm very impressed with your work. Not only did you get Jason here safely, but you got him here sooner that I expected. My contacts have picked up some rumblings about the extractions, but nothing directly related to Jason. The authorities at the university are thinking that there was a botched assault on Eagle Wind, which was called off when the university security showed up."

"There was also a report from Doc Wagon about Jason. We reported that he is safely at home and so that issue has been handled."

Ms. Johnson reaches into her bag and removes a certified credstick for each team member and hands then out. "I've added an extra 500¥ as a bonus for your good work"

"I've got to go now, but I would like you to do some more work for me. I'm get in contact with you in about a week. Would a 100¥ a day be a fair retainer for you to hang low and stay off the street until then?"

The concept of money for sitting around doing nothing is new to Bob, and he is keen to accept, but will attempt to look calm and look to Roulette for the answer.

The thought of money which does not have to be paid back is some thing that Jacob has never experienced before, he's going to enjoy spending it for a change.

Zane rises from his chair and nods to the Johnson. "I can be reached whenever the need arises, yes.

As the runners wait for the Johnson and Jason's parents to arrive, Roulette seats herself in a good vantage point, forearms resting on her knees. That is, until a light buzz at her hip has her pulling her pager out for view. Her first thought is that it must be another reply from Kiryl.

"Good, it's about time," she murmurs, but seconds later her expression goes still. She blanks the screen and clips the device back to her belt.

When those who they're waiting on arrive, she accepts the credstick handed her with a thank you. The offer of more money to keep their schedules open brings a moment of internal hesitation, flying by in a second and gone. She gives Bob a discrete nod, then makes her own reply to Ms. Johnson.

"Unfortunately I'm not likely to be available in a week. But I'm sure the others here can handle whatever you might need done just fine."

She certainly hadn't broken a sweat tonight, so that's no lie. When the runners leave, Roulette gathers her belongings from the van, wishes the others good luck and heads back to her apartment. She has some travel to get ready for.

At Roulette's nod, Bob says, that would be acceptable.

He is quite surprised when Roulette says that she will not be available for any further work, and wonders the pager she received was about.

"It's been an honor to work with you Roulette," Savage says as she is collecting her stuff from the van. "Happy hunting."

after she leaves, savage curses aloud. she was a good leader for them. he just hopes the next mission goes as well as this last one without her.

Fafnir nods to Roulette. "Keep in touch."

He turns to Ms. Johnson. "I will be available at the number you left me. Call me when you need me."

To the others he states, "Same with you. Keep in touch."

"Well it seems to me that proceedings here are at an end. Shall we head back to transportation my fellows?"

After loading up, Savage takes everyone to their respective places before heading back to his place. after a conversation with is roomateabout cleaning up behind herself and forking over rent money, he hops on the phone to order the gear he will be needing.

"You did really good," he says as he unpacks his ariel drone. he runs a complete diognostic on both of the drones and preps them for the next run. then he goes outside to check on the remote units inside the Americar and the van before making a call to have them serviced.

As Bob gets dropped off, he says to Savage "Remember, all drones and no play makes you a bloody savage." with a wink.

The week has passed by quietly. Normal life, finding gear and food, trying to stay out of trouble. Everyone succeeds fairly well except Bob. Tuesday, while he was minding his own business, a Toyota consumer car with no plates drove by and the people inside, Asian by the look of it, threw 5 Molotov cocktails and 2 grenades. Bob managed to be lucky (bad throws) and jumping out of the way and ended up only a little toasted.

Ms. Johnson makes a call a week later. She lets you know things are going well with Jason and he is back in school, even if you don't care. She asks you to meet her at the same location, tomorrow night at 10:00 PM.

After his previous "experience" Bob decides it would be safer to get a lift to the meet. He decides to give Savage a call, and see if that would be ok, only explaining why he wants a lift if really necessary.

Jacob felt naked without his guns and axe, so gives Savage a call "feeling a bit jumpy about meating in the same place twice" he wonders if Savage can keep his weapons in the van and thinks it best if they traval in a group to the meat.

Savage agrees to pick up Bob without asking questions and tells Jacob that it's fine for him to leave his toys in the van. before he leaves to pick up bob, he calls everyone else to see if they need a ride.

I for one

the next day, Savage runs a last-minute check on all the drones and cars before eating with his roomate and picking up everyone who needed a ride to the location.

"Round two gentlemen, everyone ready?" he says before removing his weapons and heading inside.

"Round Two, I signed up for Savage's Magical Mystery Tour!"

"i wish i had known. tell you what, i'll only charge you half price. you know, the rate of kids and midgets." savage laughes as he gets out the van.

Bob blithely ignores the intended meaning and takes what Savage said literally "I'll have you know I'm more than likely older than you, you bloody savage, and back in my day (when we all wore onions for belts) younguns had respect for their elders." Bob says this last while putting on his old man face.

Stories about the twentieth century I like those , carry on Bob i'll enjoy this .Jacob looks at Savage to see if he gets the joke and the starts laughing.

Savage laughs hard and pats the dwarf on the shoulder. "We need to work together more often! You're pretty funny for a little guy!"

Are we there yet, i'm starting to get stiff back here.

"yes, we are there yet" savage mimics in a childish voice. "get out and play nice with the other boys and girls."

savage climbed out of the van and went into the venue.

jacob gets out the van and stretches his legs to get the circulation back then putting on his long coat makes his way into the venue like he owns the place

Bob continues his banter with Savage as the rigger unhooks himself and they head inside, still going.

Ms Johnson enters the room and takes her place at the table.

"I see your team has shrunk, well the strong have survived. You proved yourselves capable of stealth. This is good for the next job I need done will required a great amount of it."

"My client desires some information from one of their competitors, but it is critical that competitor does not know that the information has been seen. For if it is all of the future plans well be ruined."

"Here is a summary of the job."

"You are to break into a research facility on Federated-Boeing's Renton plant. The facility consists of a large hanger next to the western perimeter of the Renton air field."

Ms Johnson hands you a two maps and some aerial photos.

"The plant is located where S 188th St would go if it did not stop before the plant. The area of housing between 84th Ave S and the Stevens Ave NE is rated a class C. The area from Stevens and the airfield is low rent industrial, machine shops and the like. The two most likely approaches to the hanger is going over the fence just north of the hanger or coming in from the lake."

Ms. Johnson pauses and looks at the team that is gathered here.

"The objective of the run is information. There are three pieces of information needed."

"First, there will be a isolated computer which holds the designs for a new hover-truck that Federated-Boeing is building. We have successful planted a person on the inside and they have created a backdoor you can use to log into the computer. The user name is "frank_smith" and the password is "12adz3l". Use this account to log in and make a copy of all of the design documents for the "High-Jump" project. Make sure that none of the original files are disturbed.

"Second, there will be a prototype hover-truck in the hanger. We need to get pictures of it. The air curtain design, vertical and horizontal thrusters, Engine, cockpit and under carriage. Again, it is important that the hover-truck is left as you find it."

"Third, there will be some early test data for the vertical thrusters. It will consist of strip charts showing thruster force verses time"

She look around at the group.

"Rolls of paper with squiggly lines on them. We need scans of these test results. There should be at least 5 rolls."

"Once you have the three pieces of data you will leave without notice and deliver then to me."

"You will need to make your run in six days, on Thursday evening. That is when the last of the test will be run and the data will be waiting to be evaluated."

Ms. Johnson pulls out a data disk, a camera and a scanner and places then on the table.

"The job pays 15,000 a piece. I can give you 4K up front."

"Questions?"

"tell me about security, has anyone tracked the movement of guards? how alert are they right now? have they had any recent breakins? is anyone else after this data?" savage asks. "We could really have used Roulette on this one."

No questions from me lady Jacob says quite happy with the job no one gets hurt thats fine bye me.

Noticing the scorn in the Johnsons voice, Bob says "We'll scan your "squiggly lines for you" investing as much sarcasm into those two words as possible."

Ms Johnson replys,

"I don't know any specifics about the current security at the plant. I do know that there is NOT a guard stationed inside the hanger. There is a maglock on the door which will need to be bypassed without destroying it. I'm afraid that I don't have a pass to give you. The only pass we have is that of our plant, and incase something goes wrong we don't want to blow there cover."

"I am not aware of any recent break-ins or other reasons they would be at a higher than normal alert."

Ms Johnson looks over to Bob.

"Yes Mr Bruce, I'm sure you know what a strip recorder is, since your focus of interest is in antiquity. I personally had to look it up when my contact told me about it. I can't image why they would be using a piece of 1970s technology to record their test data, but I've never really been able to get my head inside of engineering geeks."

"Please accept my apologies if I offended you"

Ms. Johnson bow her head slightly.

Not having thought of the device being somewhat eccentric these days, Bob had assumed she was simply being condescending. He will however, accept the apology and let the matter drop

savage smiles at their banter and suddenly sneezes again. "What kind of perfume are you wearing?" he askes the woman. "it's killing me!"

Zane nods as the others finish with their questions. "Sounds good to me, yes?."

Savage looks over at bob and says, "i want to nominate Big Bob as our new fearless leader." he winks at the dwarf and starts laughing.

Bob blithely ignores and says "Consider us on the job Ms Johnson."

Good. You can call me tuesday at this number if you have any questions.

Ms Johnson gets up and leaves.

Savage sneezes again as the woman leaves and shakes his head. after brushing a stray dreadlock out of his face, he looks at the mage and says, "last time u were the keystone for our mission and i get the feeling you are going to be a big help on this one too. "

He then scans the group and says, "I think we should hit it from different angles, that way if one of us gets caught we still have a chance to complete the mission. with three objectives and four people, the cards are stacked in our favor. You three could divide up the three objectives and i could run survalence, intelligence, and if need be coverfire. What do you all think?"

I don't think splitting up is a good idea if we can avoid it. When we are together we can cover each others weaknesses, but if we split up, let's say someone gets close enough to fight me in close combat, I'm rather stuffed.

I would have real problems with shish cabob so stick together gets my vote. I say we gather as much info as possible camp on thier door step if we have to.

"sounds good to me," savage says while shrugging his shoulders. "I'm going to send up my ariel drone to do some recon. i'll map out guard posts, guard movements, and daily activity. anything else u want me to try and find out? anyone want to tag along?"

I'll tag, so's I can see if they got much in the way of magical security.

I'll come seeing as there was no dinner this time ,besides I wonna look at my babies.

Savage relays all the recon data to everyone and asks them if they have a plan.

Well, it sounds to me like the levitating over the fence plan may be one we'll have to use. A backup means of getting through the fence will be necessary of course, but I doubt we'll find another way to get over through or around it without leaving any traces. It'll be a hard spell to cast right though, might take a few goes at it.
