The Amazing Mysto
Hey everyone, I need Drugs lick.gif. I'm putting together a run for this weekend and I don't
have the sourcebook with the stats for these. The runners opposition are gangers who can't afford much cyberware. I don't want the players to completely run circles around these guys, so I figured the drugs might slightly even the score.

Does anyone have some quick stats they could list or another thread that could be referenced?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kagetenshi
Add a few points to some physical stats or to Reaction, potentially some points of Pain Resistance, some minuses to Mental Stats in some cases, and let 'er rip.

CoalHeart
There are plenty of them in the Man and Machine.
Tarantula
This is sort of a tangent on the same general subject. In which book can I find the prices for doses of narcojet?
CoalHeart
Man and Machine. Also in the Big Book

I looked in M&M and Narcojet was not in it. There was Neurostun IX and X I think, but not narcoject. In SR3 there is a mention of it on pg 250, but no prices or anything of the sort other than its damage and contraction vector.
Joe Outside
MM has the dart guns used for narcoject. SR3 has tha actual drug.

But neither lists the price of the drug. As I said, SR3 pg 250 has the drug listing, but there is no price per dose or otherwise.
Ol' Scratch
Look in the back of M&M. Page 158 to be exact.

I'll check as soon as I have access to my book again (i.e. I'm not at work) as I was digging through all the drugs in MM last night and couldn't for the life of me find it. I'm remembering I was around pg 153-154 which I think is where neruostuns are, so I mighta just been in the wrong section.

Sorry, CC has the dartgun. The info you want is MM p 158.

Actually, MM has the dart pistol and rifle in it, CC has the blowgun. As well as a few others I think.

Well, if I keep replying, sooner or later I'm bound to get something right. And timely. indifferent.gif eek.gif indifferent.gif

Just give one of them a medicine man contact and load them up with awakened compounds. Spirit's Strength gives them every stat enhancing critter power and there are a few compounds that let one do a real number on one's enemies.
The Amazing Mysto
I guess what I'm looking for are some reaction inhancing Drugs or anything that might add dice to intiative. Are there any out there that fit that description?

guys -

he wants this spoon fed to him...it's obvious that he doesn't have M&M, or it would be a simple matter for him to look it up in the book. Mysto, if you DO have M&M, that is where all the drugs are - go look them up...

what he wants is for someone to say:

Jazz-
This combat drug, developed for Lone Star to level the playing field, does the following:
Quickness +2 (also affects Reaction as normal)
Initiative +1D6
Lasts for 1D6 x 10 minutes

since they're NPCs, he doesn't have to care about overdosing or addiction rules...

Spirit Strength was also mentioned - if these gangers have a lot of NAN members, or just somehow came across it, they would certainly want to use it...

Spirit Strength-
this is made from awakened herbs and mushrooms (IIRC) and provides the following powers from the Critters book:
Enhanced Attributes
Enhanced Reaction
Movement
The downside is that after the drug wears off, the user crashes and all physical attributes drop to 1 for an equal amount of time.

Kamikaze is another good one - but I don't remember the effects off the top of my head...these two should be more than sufficient for your needs...

The Amazing Mysto
Thanks for the spoon feeding, no I do not have M&M
The Amazing Mysto
Thanks for the spoon feeding. No I do not have M&M, but I thought I mentioned I didn't have the sourcebook.
Jazz sounds perfect, thanks again Bitrunner.

It was obvious what he wanted. It was also rather of a grey area to actually give it to him.

Though now rereading it is less of the "please post the stats to all the drugs" question I initially had read it as, our reactions were nonetheless based on more than just being jerks.

i see it as a teaser - now that he knows that there are drugs in the game that do what he's looking for, perhaps he'll go out now and buy the book...then he can see all the other stuff he's missing as well...

I actually actively dislike the drugs in M&M. They are waaay too deadly for the user, and a very limited selection. I found a neat, fan created word doc that has a ton of stuff (sound of CDs being swapped) which I don't appear to have on me right now. Do a google search, or check out your local p2p network. It's totally legal to dl it and print it out, so I use it whenever I need some drugs for my campaign.

As mentioned previously, the drugs in Man and Machine are meant to outclass any common street drug. Street and recreational drugs were entirely left out, and M&M was clearly not intending to give a view on them.

There is a blurb listing 5-10 street drugs in M&M, but all it says is their effects have no noticable effect on any stats, and that they're roleplay.
