I was quoteing the gm.... he said we start all there already.... then told us to talk about who to bring in for protection... anyway not like its gonna matter much everyone is still frizzaged. Just seems some of you took an easy out.
I don't really see an "easy" way out of this. There will be plenty of need to leave the bar. I doubt the bar has it's own power supply, a hydroponics garden, or other "self sufficiency" items. There is also the possibility that there are others in need of help, bugs that need killing (after all, we will never get out so long as the bugs rule the city), supplies procured, etc...

Bah... I'm not trying to argue I stated my thoughts. Guess I wish he didn't include me starting there so I could have had my dad in tow when I showed up.
But then we wouldn't have any reason to leave the bar.

I was talking about the folks who arrived with family in tow having to leave them behind if they accompany the rest of us who don't know how our families are.
Bad choices for the folks who have family at Henessy's - 1) stay with family and shoot the bird at their worried/scared friends or 2) risk their necks by going out into the streets and maybe not coming back to their own families.
Clearer that way?
Actually, the reply was to something Reign Maker posted. You just beat me in posting. Sorry for the confusion.
Honestly, from the first post, it seemed my character was meant to bring in his family with him... He asks for living at Hennesy's and you don't ask just for yourself but for your whole family in general. What did you guys understand from

It seems that he wanted others to be there alone, without supplies from their home and without their loved ones. Gives us something to do. The group of players (and characters) is quite large, I suspect not everyone will be doing the same stuff at the same time. It's more than likely that we'll always have a group going to do stuff and the rest stying behind to protect the place.
For the "easy" or "difficult" parts, I think we can leave that up to our GM to figure it out. We don't really know what he wants us to know, to do, or what's gonna happen to us yet.
Also, someone else asked already... is this our OOC thread for the game?

Acutally Able is current CATco SWAT. Human, and currently dosent know if ANYONE he knows is alive. So expect him to want to look for them as soon as he can find a safe place for himself.
Nick Hagvas is KE FRT so basicly swat, I wouldn't know about non KE security contracts.
