This is a WARNING ORDER
to: SFOD-D, Squadron Alpha, Troop 3 for IMMEDIATE ACTION
Situation:
Sovereign American Indian Movement terrorists have captured a silo at the Shiloh Nuclear Launch Facility in response to United Oil Industries' aquisition of petrochemical rights to remaining Indian lands.
Equipment and personnel are available through the Montana National Guard and remants of the Shiloh facility's own security force. The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment is available for airlift and insertion/extraction as needed. A Naval Explosive Ordanance Disposal specialist has been aquisitioned to provide advisory presence.
SAIM terrorists are believed to be in possession of launch codes to the Lone Eagle ballistic missile in silo 23. The missile is equipped with 16 8 kiloton warheads. Current targeting package indicates various military targets and cities in western Russia. SAIM terrorists are believed to be in possession of equipment stolen from the Fort Missoula National Guard Armory 2 weeks ago. It should be assumed that they will have signifigant small arms capabilities along with limited anti-aircraft and anti-armor capability. The SAIM terrorists are believed to be in full control of the facility's security systems, including restricted access doors, microwave and infrared detection systems, and security chokepoints.
The area surrounding Silo 23 is heavily wooded and hilly with clearings above the silo itself, and 3.6 kilometers to the west, above Silo 22. Surveillance indicates SAIM terrorists have sentries posted throughout the wood, as well as a sizable force in the facility itself.
Mission:
Secure Shiloh Nuclear Launch Facility and neutralize SAIM terrorists.
Execution:
Delta Squadron Alpha, Troop 3 will deploy in two groups, Bravo and Charlie, to secure the Silo 23 Launch Center and Silo 23 respectively. Group Charlie will attempt to disable the missile after securing the silo to prevent launch.
Operators should utilize clothing appropriate to wooded terrain, and suited to cool weather. Body armor should be appropriate to Close Quarters Battle conditions.
Weaponry should be suitable to engage targets utilizing "soft" body armor, and be capable of being effectively employed in both far and close-range encounters. Full electronic and communication capabilities are required. Group Charlie should possess equipment suitable to performing operations on a Lone Eagle Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile.
