Just as a question, would it be better, with all the time stamp issues we've had, if I waited to post what I was doing the next day, or should I just go ahead and post what's going on between now and when we're getting together again?
Blitz

As a general rule, you can post ahead. With the time stamps, it makes it relatively easy to make sure I dont let anyone get ahead, but just like Adam, I will not bump you until I get everyone more or less on the same page.

Spud..you can see remnants of old Spikes logos on some of the darker corners, but they have been crudely painted over with Ragers tags. As you get farther away from the harbor, you can see evidence of the contested border with several layers of tags in some places. Scattered throughout, there are also additional tags and symbols that are unfamiliar to you, but are rarely repeated. Could be simply a urban artist throwing his name around, or small time unknown groups trying to take over the random block.

Heh i doubt anyone else cares, but something clicked into place last night about my character Die. She is a dual wield gun adept and I was thinking about how you lose the ability to use smartgun and lasers when you dual wield and stuff and I was thinking about her glasses and spotting targets when it hit me.
I dont really think a physical adept should have a mentor spirit but one chose me and im gonna try to make it work. The Cameleon!!
#1. Cameleons eyes work independantly from each other, which would be really awesome for a dual wield person.
#2. Cameleons move in this twitchy motion to look like a leaf blowing in the wind which could be interpreted as sexy
#3. When they shoot their tongue's out at food its super fast, my magic boosts my speed and agility.
#4. It may be to late but i wanna try to add magic points to my chick as she developes so that she can cast invis or some illusion spells just so she gains the cloaking ability of the cameleon.
@blitz
adept = 5 BP, mystic adept = 10 bp, mentor spirit = 5 BP
Do you think i could pick up mystic adept and mentor spirit for double their BP cost in karma. Also could I get a refund from my adept qaulity. Like If i pick up mystic I would only need to pay 5 bp since i already have half of it which would be 10 karma.
Im thinking I would gain acces to my mentor spirit first and he would start guiding me and as i start listening to it he would grant me powers.
This seems like a good time to ask so when do we get Karma ? lol

First, here is the check for seeing if there is any connection between our target and the Ragers
Gang knowledge + Intuition = 6 rolls
1, 4, 6, 2, 5, 4= 2 hits
Figuring out if Roc knows who Bull is
Gang Knowledge + intuition = 6 rolls
2, 1, 6, 5, 5, 1= 3 hits
Second Blitz feel free to use Roc.
Third I will be gone until Monday or Tuesday of next week. I am going back home to help with harvest on the family farm. Jack feel free to take over the conversation if you want to speed things up. Thinking on his feet is not Roc's best quality.
Blitz
Oct 11 2006, 02:36 PM
Spud..there is no known connection between them, the ragers are still small enough that the mafia doesn't respect them or ask permission to mess around in their turf, but cesears family is big enough that it keeps the gang from interferring too much. This combo probably means there's a bit of annimosity between the groups, but that doesn't stop the ragers from taking a hand out if offered. Usually just for a bit of extra security when a big move is going down.
Bull is one of the upper lieutenants in the gang.
Jack, just too keep it going without too much railroading, why dont you take lead in discussing business.

Blitz, alittle concerned about the protection money needed for this place. I am not sure if we cleared that up or not. I understand we are paying 75 a day while the group research's the place and pull off the job. However, if we do take the place did we figure out how much protection would be? 75 a day seems a little expensive.
Gang, I think we might be able to use the gang as either a diversion or I think we could use them to as cover for our escape. I will have Roc explain that in character when the group meets up.
On a side note, it took us a fairly long time to roleplay that senario. The next senario could take an equally long time. I wanted to check to see if the group wanted us to speed it up or not. I know I have been in other games where an encounter with one or two characters takes a while and I became bored because my character had nothing to do.

He's a ganger...he's pushing for all he can get and you started laying the cred down so he figured to gamble and see how far it would take him. Negotiations havent even started for the safehouse, but check the book. Renting a short term spot with the ammenities you're looking for isnt actually cheap.
I'll take the blame for the speed of posting. Things have been so crazy I haven't had as much time as I like to post. I give you all full permission to poke me as necessary to make sure Im not falling behind.

Hey guys, just checking in.
Enjoying watching your dealings with the gangers. I think it's great that we have gotten a reasonable rate for operating on their turf without their interference - plus it's a good 'in' if we need their services for anything else.
As for a safehouse, like Blitz said, the book price is Y500 a DAY. I mean, we are getting paid peanuts for this run as is - even if we can work a 20% discount, that's Y400 a day. Four-day op means Y1600 - that's more than one team member's whole final payment. That's why we all agreed back at Club Rain to not bother with setting up a safehouse for this run.
But you guys are on site, and I'm not, so I'll back whatever play you make (at least OOC I will...).
As for how long you take to play out your night of recon - no hurry at all as far as I'm concerned. Do what needs doing. Jack's playing the infil expert.

We really only need a decent survellince spot...the rest is icing on the cake. That being said..it isnt a bad thing to have a stash point close, they think we bugged out and we come back later to their area to collect it.
