I've sent Sicarius a partial character sheet and background.
The items remaining are personal: contacts, lifestyles, rigger gear, other gear, etc.; group: bases, drones, gear, vehicles, etc..
I have approx 800,000
available. I understand some of you have also allocated money for group stuff. Anybody want to talk about vehicles, drones, weapons, tactical gear, etc.? I have access to the Survival Guide.
Based on some of the posts I just read, I guess I need to take a look at the IC: thread now.
I'll continue this post after I do that.

You need a knowsoft link, to use a linguasoft.
You can probably use a datasoft in a pocket secretary - you know, a danish-english dictionary. You might be able to buy a babelfish type software application - with voice recognition, translation, and voice output - if you don't mind looking nerdy

My call sign is Wiley, short for Wile E. Coyote. You will see Wile E. painted on some of my birds, usually strangling the Road Runner. I'm 3'3" tall, slim, and African-American via Cuba and Jamaica - rather a handsome devil.
I grew up in Tacoma, did ROTC in college, then became a UAV pilot for the JTFS. Before that, I competed internationally in the Robot Wars World Cup. I made a number of contacts that I've maintained to this day with Jamaican Rum, Cuban Cigars, French perfume, visits, and e-mails. Sometimes, we even do business.
The JTFS and I had a falling out over their "unofficial policy" on collateral damage. They see nothing wrong with ordering an air or artillery strike to take out one sniper. I told them I would rather walk the bomb in than destroy a school full of children. That put a damper on my career. Theoretically, I am still in the reserves, and have to serve one weekend a month. My commander is a bud, and will let me miss a month or two in exchange for some Cubans - as long as I don't abuse the privilege. Anyhow, don't expect me to take any assignments that would pit us against the JTFS. I took an oath. I work abroad to stay outa their way. I run the shadows now, cause I still like to blow things up. Maybe one day I will mature.
To paraphrase Heinrich Dorfmann, don't let the fact that I fly model airplanes bother you; I'm just as good flying "full size models". "Trust me!"

Edit: No Small Unit Tactics in my mind would be a more military minded skill. the security/border patrol tactics would be more for "customs/border agents are likely to do... random cargo searches, utilize a do not fly list.. etc or whatever" in this case

Which trouble spots have been in the news lately?
Pete, can you get us layouts of the departure and arrival airports? especially the terminal building in Denmark, and the surrounding areas? Can you figure out who we are going to meet? Any speculation as to why?

For IC 'realism' I'll handle all the specific concerns after my intial intel packet is presented. IMHO that'd be when specifics are discussed/asked for clarity.
Jack can you be more specific on what Pete will look for in his matrix search? I figured it would help you to see what you remembered (via knowledge skills) before rolling your matrix search.

Shadow Kat should have little problem taking commercial transportation. The only problem is the fact that she doesnt have a license for her Pred. Other than that, she has nothing illegal on her.
Strife's got no transport at the mo, I'd shovelled all the cash I might have spent on one to the team transport *8-> She's got no probs on public transport.... well if she travels with her legal SIN.... which she'll prolly not wnat to do most of the time.
As for a ground vehicle I'd suggest something like a land rover (long wheel base) or similar off road type. Prolly not a good idea for us to go for a full on APC type (even if we could afford it or get hold of one under the availablity) just because while great for missions it's just nat conspicuous... (hehe imagine parking it at the airport long term car park *8->)

Bad Ass, if you'd like, you can hold on to that money in cash, without the usual chargen to in-game reduction temporarily. You guys will soon be at a place where having a shopping list will be alot of fun to RP. Its an option you have.

Ok by me. That takes the pressure off somewhat.

Smoke can travel commercial under a couple of fake SINs. The only issue is avoiding the whole licensing Awakened people thing, which may be more or less lax wherever we travel.
Yeah being in Constan/Istanbul we have a great market place as you can buy hardware (mil type) from the Jannisaries market...imagine an open air market with all the milspec goodies,

With the ports/trains/airports I was looking at getting the names and locations of them. For the trainstations also the normal schedule of arrival departures. Nothing to fancy just broad strokes on the canvas, until the group specifies some points they wish clarified.
Also I have a contact that's a Vory in Kronstadt (not sure how much help he'll be but, maybe I'll work on him to make introductions...if possible, or just the skinny on those Vory there.)

Well assuming that Denmark hasn't outlawed Tazers and Stun Batons (pretty sure they're both legal in BBB) I'm gonna take them.... in my hold luggage.... We'll prolly want to make sure everyone takes at least an overnight bag as airline get suspicious if you don't have at least one bag *8-> I'll do an IC about that once everyone's up but I don't think we have much more IC planning to do, except maybe a meet point after arrival and maybe a rally point if everything goes to hell in a hand basket.

Well I'm still about but kinda stuck for an IC til someone else posts... either that or Strife'll go surfing IC to find weapon regs etc for denmark, I'll have a think and try to come up with an IC inna bit.

that seems perfectly reasonable. I would think a computer roll would still be valid, just to see if your search-fu is any good, but the target # is very low, and you can do it easily from a poc-sec
