Sure, I just couldn't see the text. Sharing a fixer works for me, here's the descrip.
[ Spoiler ]
Digger (3/4) Fixer/Club Owner
Digger is a Dwarf, formerly a hacker of no small repute he worked the shadows all along the East Coast, eventually settling in Atlanta to run a semi-legitimate business, a medium sized night club called the Prismatic Cube. Digger is still up on most of the tech and does work as a fixer to help keep his night club afloat. He and Dean connected while Dean was still with Lone Star in Halifax and when Dean hit the shadows it was Digger and his connections that made Dean disappear. Since then Dean has been getting shadow work almost exclusively from Digger and most nights can be found hanging out in the Cube. Dean has done the magical wards around Diggers back rooms and will occasionally provide astral security for the club.
Digger has a paranoid issue with technomancers, almost an obsession, and has installed enough wi-fi jammers and noise generators in the walls of his club to effectively block out most wireless signals. The club itself is connected to the Matrix, but no outside signals can get through without going through the club’s node, which Digger has layered with security. This means that very few technomancers will come into the club since they’ll be cut off from the greater Matrix, and also that anyone who enters the club is limited to networking with just those people in the club. Of course anyone that hack’s the club’s Matrix security system would effectively be able to control Matrix flow, but Digger hasn’t figured out how to have his cake and eat it too, yet.
Anyone who wants can read that, doesn't bother me. 2bit if you want to make changes let me know.

I see that we are all here. I am assuming that Dean will come busting in here in a minute and that Sundown went into the shop.
I'm taking my wife out to dinner this evening so I'll make the first post and check back in when we get back.
@ Redjack
Since Book is sustaining I'll give you a spoiler should he note anything unusual.

Vick remembers that two weeks is the time frame for the Southern Conservative Party Primary. While Terry Fulerton is a shoe-in for the nomination, having him forced out or quietly bow out at this point would essentially prevent a Southern Conservative from winning the election.

Book notices that the sense of the cigar smoking man has changed. He is no longer tense and is telling the complete truth.

Wow... That was a mouthful....
@Alex
[ Spoiler ]
To be clear, I see in the room the following people:
Cigar Smoking Man "Mr Johnson" (male human mundane)
Jazz ([Thanee] human female mundane)
Vick ([2bit] male human mundane)
Carron ([ErrosCallidus] male human mundane)
Dean ([Cedric Rolfsson] male human mage)
Sundown ([Shadow] male human mage) + F4 Air Elemental
Belle ([Trigger] mundane human female)
Eric "Book" ([Redjack] Male Human Shaman) + Watcher

Yes that is who you see. I just realized that the watcher forgot to tell Eric about the Air Elemental. Bad watcher, bad!

Hey Alex,
Do you want me to let you know OOC everytime Carron's looking for something specific? I can roll everytime he scans the scene, but that seems a bit repetitive...
@Alex
[ Spoiler ]
He's checking to see if the fancy car really WAS the J's and if there's anybody around taking a little undue notice of his car and whatever car he can figure is one of his new teammates'
Not that I wouldn't do it. He's a pretty alert guy.
ludomastro
Mar 12 2007, 12:25 AM
@ Erros
In general, I'll roll for you if there is something that needs to be / could be noticed. However, that will be at -2. If you have something specific that you are looking for, then yes, please let me know. In my mind, scanning the scene for a Shadowrunner come with the territory, much the same way as it does to military.
[ Spoiler ]
The car is now gone. Nothing else seems to jump out at him.

I am working on the assumption that your characters will be working out the details of how and where things go from here. Let me know when you get to the point where you need things to progress and I'll push things along.

Ok, it's late and I have Church in the morning, so I'll bid you all goodnight. I check the threads about once, maybe twice a day so if you post IC or need an answer OOC, I'll get to you pretty quick.
I am assuming that good St. Patrick kept a few people up and away from keyboards this weekend.

2bit, does your character and Dean know each other?
2bit
Mar 19 2007, 08:25 PM
I haven't said anything about it yet IC, since Dean hasn't really done much, but I'd like if they could know each other from previous runs together. You'd know Vick as a well rounded mercenary who's a good squad leader.

I agree, lets set a time to gather in a public place and then move this thread along. Dean will be responding to the latest question concerning his abilities and spells but I'd rather get in depth later.
Question, do we want to post strategy discussions here rather than IC to help move this along?

Question, does the Atlanta area use something similar to GridGuide like Seattle? What kind of knowledge skill would I use to figure out how it works? Could we hack the DOL logs to get the registry numbers on the target's vehicles and then set up an agent or program to track those vehicle through the GridGuide system? That might save a lot of grunt work in the tracking process.
Dean lacks anything which would hint at the knowledge skill necessary but is it something I could find through the public databases?
ludomastro
Mar 27 2007, 05:25 AM
I see the major routes and downtwon as being on grid guide or something similar. I don't see the outlands having it. You can find general information on the grid guide operation; however, keep in mind you are dealing with a national figure in the nations capital in an extremely developed nation. You can hunt for him but no guarantees that he (or his aides most likely) won't be spoofing out the wazoo.
Thanee
Mar 27 2007, 05:28 AM
We would need to watch the car and then figure out what ID it runs with on the grid. That might work.

So, she now knows what the owner wears to bed and what his doctor eats for breakfast. What do you specifically want to know?
[ Spoiler ]
The country club is owned by one Thomas A. Jones - a former Shadowrunner that used the street name "Talos". He went semi-legit after a big score against Ares and decided that retiring to the South would be good for him and it has been. He has created the country club for two reasons. 1. He still involves himself in the shadow scene as the fixer for the rich and famous. 2. It is good money providing privacy and protecting other peoples secrets. He doesn't deal in said secrets but he has a database that will publish everyones secrets should he die an untimely or unnatural death. His clients therefore, have a tendency to keep him alive.
