Rey nods and steps onboard, the boat dipping slightly with his weight. The legend scrawled on the side of the boat reads "Persephone" though its hard to read as the water covers the lower half of the lettering.
Following Rey onto the boat, your eyes scan left and right. The feeling of paranoia not quite alleviated just yet. The reassuring weight of Sunny stepping behind you is slightly less comforting when the boat dips again and a slight swell spills onto the boat's deck.
Stepping inside the boat's main cabin, Rey momentarily disappears from view before poking his head back out.
Cash, you coming? I would prefer not to handle our business in the open... Can I get you something to drink? Pops just got his hands on a Glenfidditch Reserve label. Muy Bueno. For the first time, Rey's smile seems wholeheartedly genuine. He slaps the glass with his hand and laughs before ducking back inside.

Shell just nods his head towards a coming wave and smiles. The wave glistens with streams of code, the white cap a foam of data packets and node communications.
Dipping his hands deep into the water, Shell paddles furiously towards the wave. Moments before the wave hits, Shell grabs tight onto his board and then leaps to his feet. No one made of flesh could have made a move so fluid, so graceful. One minute he's on his belly, the next he's coasting up the wave.
Ahead of him a bright, white rectangle of light appears. A door. Shell angles his board and heads straight for it.

The flash of white light is momentarily blinding, even in the virtual world of the Matrix. Soon, your vision clears... slightly. Your standing in what appears to be a closet. A broom closet. The smell of disinfectant and cleaning solution clog your nose and behind you, you can feel the course bristles of some kind of brush. Standing in front of you is Shell. He's clothed in a white lab coat with an official looking seal over the left breast pocket. Looking down, you seem to be wearing the same thing... with the exception of your coat is blue.
Shell looks down at you and nods then opens the closet door. Stepping out you find yourself in a long, sterile white hallway. Several sets of swinging double doors dot the hallway, all of them labeled with signs.
Shell moves away from the broom closet and begins reading the signs.

Cash takes the beer with an appreciative smile. As he drinks, he nudges the astro turf with his boot tip.

Rey, what's with the 'turf?

Rey hands you your beer and turns back to pour himself a drink. The faint buzz of a whitenoise generator can be heard in the background.
Hmm? Oh.. that. Yeah, Pop hooked himself a huge Bull shark off the coast last week. Damn thing thrashed the deck up, bled all over it too. Pop laid down the 'turf till he could get it back into drydock to be repaired. Rey smiles and gulps back a generous portion of his vodka.
Got your gear, Tone. Right over there. He gestures over towards the left wall where a large black duffle bag sits on a table.

Bull shark? More like Bull drek. Rey never has my gear ready to go. He's a bigger talker than I am. I can't believe hie's lying to my face.

Cash keeps his easy smile on his face and chuckles a bit at Rey's story. He grabs the bag up, checking it for the laesel. He pulls out a fe wslap patches.

Beer and bag in one hand, Cash claps Rey appreciately on the shoulder, and waits for the ork to show them off the boat, back to the car.

Rey nods, gesturing towards the patches with his drink.
You be careful with those, allright omae? He walks the both of you back out onto the deck. With a look, he indicates that Cash should hang back for a second.

He speaks louder, letting his voice carry to Sunny.
Well, I got business to see too. I'll give your best to Pop. Enjoy your day, Tone... Nice meeting you, Sunny.
With that, Rey heads back into the darkened interior of the ship.

Cash nodded once, the message well understood.

Looks like we may be working Atlanta sooner than we thought. Better finish tonight's work quick.

Cash keeps a level and easy smile on his faec as he strolls slowly back to his car. Once inside, he runs a bug scanner over the bag for a few seconds, then runs a chem sniffer over it. Once he's sure it's clean, he goes thruogh it's ocntents, making sure everything is as it should be, then puts it in the back seat and pulls out, setting his autopilot for his doss.

Once he's a good few miles away,Cash activates the bug scanner again, leaving it on top of the bag turned on. Then he grabs his white noise generator and activates it.

He hands Sunny his $500 first.

OK Sunny, that was mostly a warm up. The work begins now. This is between you and me. I'm talking silence. Talk to no one about our business I'm about to discuss with your, or a lot more than our association will end badly. Clear? I'm talking [b]large[/b[ figures here chummer. Smiling back at her in the darkness, Sean replies, "Yes, but not tonight. Tonight I am yours.. tomorrow is another day." ....

Later as he is fading off to sleep, Sean muses at Regina and wonders how exactly they came to be together. Must have been [i]Crow guiding me to her... There is no other explanation.[/I] ... and with that he passes into sleep for the night.

Sunny takes a few second to replay the conversation between Cash and Rev in his mind. Afterwards, he looks the troll straight in the eyes. I'm in, chummer. You can trust me, when I say that I won't tell anyone about this. If I couldn't, I would have been dead meat for a long time, believe me.

You may or may not have heard that a certain Family is looking into a rat problem. They're looking for a exterminator and they're paying in this many digits. Cash holds up 7 fingers. I 've got a lead on where their rodent problem me be. That's what I'm doing tonight. I don't know if I'll find out exactly what bolt hole the little bugger is in, but I'm sure I'll have something by then end of tonight. When I do, I'll probbly need some assistance in dealing with it, since it's a big rat problem. You in?

The scent of her perfume, the feel of her hair... those are the last sensations you remember before you slip into a heavy slumber. When you awaken, the sun is shining outside your window and the smell of a Puerto Rican coffee blend wafts through the air.
Stumbling into the kitchen, still slightly bleary eyed, you find a full pot of coffee and a note. Actually handwritten... and smelling faintly of rose oil.

Sean heads to the shower without a thought to anything else. He was distracted by the smell of his own sweat and the feel that the dirt of the day had ground into his skin. The running water made him feel clean once again; Ready for the next round.

The remainder of the expense account for binding materials, plus 500 of his retainer, had been spent for earth and fire binding materials. He set to work quickly. Summoning and binding this next pair of elementals would likely take him all day, then it would be time to catch up with his team mates.

Cash calls down to Sunny's comm a few minutes later. Come on up. I'll send you ARO directions.*click*
Sure enough a minute lataer an ARO appears, and guides Sunny up to one of hte upper apartment levels. The apartment is well furnished in a suprising range of colors. It looks like a professional must have done it, judging by Cash's usual colors in dress. The main feature is the great view from the double glass doors. The place is meant to impress.

Well I got some more info. Looks like we'll have to be talking to the D.A. himself to get what we need. I think I know a few people we can talk to about operating costs further down the line. We're done for tonight though, so you might as well get some rest. We've got work to do in the morning, and I intend to be out of Miami ASAP.

For a moment its all you can do not to simply charge after Shell and punch his lights out... but time waits for no man and the blinking red countdown clock in the corner of your peripheral vision is ticking away quickly.
Thankfully, the Records node is not difficult to find... unfortunately, it seems to be in frequent use by either staff or agents. The door barely has time to swing closed before another program or icon is ducking inside. Perhaps doing this during regularly scheduled business hours was a bad idea.
Watching the clock and watching the door, you finally catch a break ... for a brief moment all traffic stops... probably a requirement of the maintenance function being performed. According to the clock you have 25 seconds remaining.

The fire elemental came with minimum resistance and was bound the same. Crow took a short break before beginning the ritual for an Earth Elemental.

During the summoning, he knew he was in trouble. It took far more out of him than it should have. He had time though. Plenty of time. I'd better rest before starting the binding. He figured a short rest and then he could deal with the troublesome spirit.

From the moment the binding started, he was in trouble. Succumb! Yield! The spirit would not yield. It fought him, it resisted him. It would not submit to his will.

In the end he lay in the binding circle, nearly fully spent, unable to understand what had went wrong. What happened? What was wrong? Looking over every symbol and every aspect of the circle he saw the issue. The incense. It was mixed wrong. There were aspects mixed in that are affable to elements of air. No wonder!

Cash gives him a wink and shows him to the door after having a quick beer, then crashes (after going through his home with a fine tooth comb. Never can be too sure when you leave a woman alone in your bachelor pad).

Sunny takes a cab to his familys restaurant. Spending the night cooking, eating and chattering with his family, he nearly forgets his dangerous way of life for a couple of hours.

The next morning he gets up late, but just in time to spend an hour at the gym and arrive at the meeting with Cash in time.
