Now I am fine with whatever you rule, but if I may do a little player-wheedling-the-GM-for-more-mods, I did figure you'd ask for an intimidation test, and a glance at the book led me to guesstimate my chances of success based on the following:

Character is wielding a weapon or obvious magic +2 (which you already generously expanded to +3, already rolled)

Character is physically imposing in some way +1 to +3
I was thinking maybe a +2 for fat musle-augmented dude standing on you
2 3 = 0 possible extra hits (but no longer a Glitch if these dice are allowed)

Characters outnumber the subjects +2
5 5 = 2 possible extra hits

And MOST important
Asp grinding his boot into poor naked Mr. Winkie!
Character is causing (has caused) subject physical pain (torture) +2
3 6 = 1 possible extra hit

Tone of voice is so tough in these things, and I hate emoticons. So just let me say this is just sort of me tossing some thoughts out from the RAW, and whatever you say goes.
If it's a critical glitch, just tell me what happens and I'll take my licks.

I guess you can consider us heading with all due speed east to Redmond. Kingsgate's just north of Touristvill on the western edge of the barrens, so it's not very far. But if others join us by car, we will of course wait for them. Not sure who's coming, or if it will be astral or physical, so just waiting to hear on that.

Dude, would never blow you off like that. The <<yellow text between arrowey things>> is what I use for commlink transmissions, so my reply to your call is right there in the IC post previous to yours.
In any case, we have it set up so that everything Asp sees and hears gets fed in real time to the safehouse's trid.
I guess maybe you thought the yellow was thoughts. I use plain italics for that.

Surface or highway? Whatever is most appropriate. Cadence/Nathan will use Area Knowledge to determine the best routes (by road quality, traffic conditions and general safety - gangs, cops, etc) and then go.

comes down to safe or fast...your choice. Highways are faster but, dangerous. Suface is slower and safer

Actually, it's kinda hard to say - we still don't know if people from the house are joining us astrally or by car. If it's by car, they will have to catch up to us, as our current location in Bellevue is between our destination in Redmond and our house in the greater Downtown district.

Ummmmm - sorry everyone, but I am feeling a little bit in the Twilight Zone here on one point - the whole Flame thing.

I mean, I THOUGHT my response to his call came through loud and clear in the IC, and when it didn't I tried to make myself real clear OOC.

In my paranoid metagaming mind - I have thought of two things that might be happening. One is that Spudroc might think I have something against him personally because of the way Asp and Flame don't get along. If that is the perception, let me assure all it is not true - I actually like Flame giving Asp a hard time - lets more character issues come out (and goodness knows I'll need them, if Sahara leaves the house...).

In the game, I am imagining PMs from Jack telling everyone that my message never got through, and to ignore all my commlink communications. Like, I'm being jammed or my signals are getting highjacked or something. My comm has rating 5s all around, but I don't have any IC or ECCM, so I suppose it's possible. But then what about the streaming to the house's trid? Wouldn't we hear that that had gone dead? Or maybe the signal is just being very selectively edited?

To test my theory, I could try calling him again - but it's not Asp's theory yet, only mine. I'll need some more game time to go by before he gets annoyed at a lack of communication and makes another direct call.

Looking back at all this, I am thinking I sound pretty gosh-darned paranoid. But then, Shadowrun will do that to you.

I would assume with all the recent action and adrenaline (the prey's scent is in the air) that you'd make your way there. You sent the call and by my best figuring of your PC you'd shrug it off with, he'll meet us there or he wont.
