I don't recall the cost, or exactly what the states are (I think +1DV/-1AP) but I'm not sure. I didn't bother using it on anything except the plates in Claymore's hardliner gloves. No AP bonus though.

I am working on gear right now, since I just got the PDF it is slowing down, but I'm pretty sure I've got everything but my vehicles already. Finished my Cyber/Bio load out earlier. Turns out I decided not to be an adept because well... it wasn't really feasible. Still a mechanic from hell though. I'll post a more renewed background soon.

Anyone know how Fist handles nanite degradation due to damage? I would really like some Neocortical Neural Amplifiers, but if I have to replace them every time I get shot in the leg, they are not even remotely worth it.

By the way, if any of you have played Mass Effect, I should never have started referring to Fisty as just Fist. Now every time I say it I think of that krogan bar owner from the game.

If I was trying to make a relatively detailed layout of a multiple story warehouse, what program would you guys suggest I use? I need to send it to Fisty. I'm going ahead and making the layout for Farhaven- my base of operations/mechanics shop/chemical shop/medical shop/home and I need a good program to draw it with.

Fisty has been sick. Had a fever of 102 last couple of days. On my days off no less. I've still got a bunch of errands to catch up on this morning, including taking care of some tax stuff, but I should have time and freedom to get some posts up and reading done later today. Ugh. May have announced 'recovery' too soon. I've had a massive head ache along with anything from what I think is a sinus infection. Sadly, I'm not up to Chris' ability to cope with headaches. If it makes you feel any better, my ability to cope with pain has been HARD earned over a period of 12-ish years, and honestly there are still quite a few days when it really gets the best of me. Then again, the magnitude is indescribable and there are a whole host of other secondary effects... Anyway, just wanted to say I'm sorry and I hope you feel better soon, or at least well enough to post and/or respond to my character. Also, found several things either wrong or that need small mods(want to be able to fire Automatics, apparently somehow managed to not copy my Language/Knowledge skills over into the PM, need a commlink so either I'm having a lot less drones and stuff than I want or will have to cut back on cyber/bio to get some cash. Etc. Also, still tweaking the exact background, not too much will change just because more specific and fleshed out. Trying to wait till everything is nailed down so I can incorporate everything into it. Also, still working through Arsenal so that isn't too helpful either.

DT, send me a draft of your character sheet so I have an idea of what you're at. I would suggest getting the bones finished first, then some meat, before going for the icing like the gear out of Arsenal. Right now you look like the guy that went to the grocery store hungry. i.e. grabbing everything in sight instead of what you actually need. Get what you need to have first then go for condiments.

I used to take arbitrary words and sentences and translate them into binary while driving when my head was bad and I shouldn't have been on the road. I know everything I want, I just need the time to work through Arsenal, do the math and figure out what I need. Unless by look, you were talking about the sheet, and I realize that he is fairly spread out, with the exception of mechanical know-how, but that is what I'm going for. Covering tech as much as possible, being passable to above average in combat, and covering at least some matrixy stuff and some first aid with some other restrictions. So, I am spread fairly thin. I think I only top 15 dice on mechanics and first aid(before mods of course). Don't want to say too much more. But, this is what I was aiming for, if it doesn't fit just let me know. I can bang out an acceptable character in less than a day, I've just been taking my time because I can.

I'll more-than-likely have an updated character sheet over to you in the next week, after I fully absorb Arsenal, and the impact it has on my already-created crap. Are you intending to use some, most, any, all, few, half, or any random number of the suggested (or otherwise) optional rules in Arsenal? If so, which ones? Armor mods and the like come immediately to mind, as do weapon mods and all the new Capacity crap. I am perfectly willing to tweak away, but I would like some basis to work with.

That is information I need too. Like I said before, let me know when you need me done. It'll take me an hour or so.

Well, you know why Tain's got issues with too much VR (just like with alcohol). It's not just me RPing my own lack of comfort/knowledge with the zany new rules for it, in this case.

Trying to allocate what is left of my money, any suggestions as to gang or biker related things I need? I don't want to show up to the party dressed incorrectly or without the appropriate gift/baked goods.

Heh, ok, well, how about some maybe less obvious things? Also, how are we for heavy weaponry? I mean, I know Tain is a swordsman, and Claymore is pretty good with a pistol and a sword, but how are we for things like say... rockets/flamethrowers/grenades/the various machine guns? Also, would that be something I should steer away from? I don't want to ruin the theme for people. My idea of the Seattle Gangs might be different than all of yours and I would prefer to follow the generally accepted train of thought.

My times been limited, as I go back and forth between tending to my fambily and trying to decided if I'm 'recovered' or not my self. To save me huge amounts of browsing, how's about you list which optional rules you're specifically asking about, and I'll look over any other ones that look interesting in the mean time.

Seriously though, pretty much everything in the book could apply to my character. Not so much the vehicles and drones for me, although DTF is more-than-likely interested in that section. I mean, there's quite a lot ... new armor rules and capacity, new weapons and mods and ways to apply those mods, martial arts rules which include the use of Qualities, not to mention drugs and explosives ... How do I narrow it down? You've read the book by now, so you should have a good idea what you are going to allow. I would normally just go ahead and assume everything is canon, but some of the optional rules contradict other optional rules, so that makes things tough (unless I cherry pick the best rules for me! ).

Looks like I've got a lot of reading to do.

I'm still reading it too. I'm thinking it'll mostly come down to little tweaks (mostly to fall within the new limitations). If you allow the martial arts rules though, I will have to really think about things.

I am still reading it, as wel, which is why Fist doesn't have my gear list yet, but I can pound one out whenever he needs and fill in the things I missed later on.

Probably nothing from the martial arts rules for me. Dar'ian has never really learned much about using any blades but scalpels. He'll club someone to death though. Preferably with a shock baton. I like the Telescopic Staff, the Stun Staff, and the Jupiter Taser Club for melee weapons, the Thunderbolt for a Pistol, the PJSS for a Sport Rifle, the HK PSG for a sniper rifle, a SPAS-22 for my shotgun. IF I can afford all that. Also need a couple of machine guns or somesuch things for drones. Also need to modify the hell out of them ALL. *cackle maniacly*
