Tes is wearing his armor jacket, with a vibroknife concealed inside. He'll drive to the meet himself, and keep the Alpha tucked away in the Mirage's smuggling compartment.
DWC
Nuke arrives in a plain white t-shirt under a light grey Seattle Timberwolves sweatshirt, work jeans, and a beat up pair of biker boots. Over that, he's wearing a synth-leather armored jacket. His non-silenced Predator IV sits in a concealed holster high up on his side, hidden under the sweatshirt, with a pair of spare magazines in the small of his back. The weapon is loaded with Stick'n'Shock, as is one of the magazines. The other is EX-explosive. The handgun's wireless is disabled, set to connect only through the skinlink, and subscribed to his commlink.

All his cyberware except his implanted commlink has its' wireless disabled, is clustered, and is slaved to the commlink in his arm. The implanted link is in Hidden mode using a spoofed AccessID. He's got a pair of AR glasses tucked into the top of his sweatshirt subscribed to a decoy commlink, along with the AR glove on his left hand. The decoy commlink is in Passive Mode, broadcasting his fake SIN. The decoy commlink hangs from a beltloop like a watch fob.

The R5 agent is currently loaded with Analyze, actively searching for intruders in his implanted commlink. He's also running Stealth on his persona, and Encrypt on his implanted commlink's node. His decoy commlink is loaded with the R2 programs from his MSP, along with the R2 agent from the MSP.

He rides the Scorpion to the meet, after spoofing its' AccessID.

Jasper is wearing a faded blue ballcap that reads Maintenance on the front, Saftey glasses, armored coveralls over a blue pocket tee. PPP vitals protection and shin guards(under his coveralls). he's got his hardware tools in his coveralls and a quick draw holster with "harry"(his ruger superwarhawk) loaded with regular ammo, plus a pocket of extra bullets (unless his recon has found the gun to be a bad idea, he has a fake liscense and doesn't mind checking it at the door if required) "shelly", his Hotspur pick-up is parked out front feeding cameras to jaspers AR and "Charlene", the van ,is running a perimeter with chameleon paint set to make her non descript and the radio signal scanner looking for Lonestar. Jasper has rewired the access Id on his comlink and has it in passive mode with a fake SIN. he's plugged in via datajack . he also has slaved "harry","shelly", and "charlene"to his commlink and everything is encrypted(including his glasses). he is running encrypt, analyze, Sniffer, stealth, and decrypt.

In my latest post, Stray asked her fixer about Tickler's stances on weapons and clothes, so she doesn't goof up and get stopped at the entrance for carrying too much heat, or not wearing a dress or such.

In any case, she'll have her Remington 990 (and 20 rounds each of regular, ExEx, shot and gel), her goggles, her explorer jumpsuit, shock gloves, flash-pak, survival knife, silencer for her pistol and a medkit stashed in her Dodge Scoot.

For the meet she'll be wearing her sunglasses and her commlink, set to passive, as well as her ear buds and AR gloves. Whether she carries her ares predator in a concealable holster (with regular ammo loaded, and two clips (regular/gel) in reserve depends on what the fixer told her. If she can't carry the pistol inside she'll leave it in the scooter too.
She'll be wearing armor clothes (Jeans, T-Shirt, boots, leather jacket) if the fixer told her that was ok, if not she'll have gotten some cheap dress.

Flash will be wearing a black knee-length skirt, a semi-transparent midnight blue top that lets her black bra showing slightly, with her belly exposed under her dark brown armor jacket, black sandals with heels, electric blue-tinted sunglasses, a blond wig of medium length, and subtle make up. If it's cold outside, she'll be wearing black semi-transparent stockings as well, and an extra layer like a leather vest.

Gear carried: Armor jacket, Streetline Special in a hidden gun arm slide fitted to her jacket, one of her preds (reg ammo) in a concealable holster also fitted inside her jacket, earbuds, subvocal mic in a pocket, and 3 pills of eX concealed on her person.

She'll get there by car.
BlackHat
Discharge doesn't have that much stuff, and none of it is illegal, so he will bring it all. This incldues his jumpsuit, disposable commlink, endoscope (who knows?) and medkit

Edit: Get there by cab or bus (whichever is easier). He has pleased car as part of his SIN, but its no good when his power-breaks (or somethign equally important) short-circuit in the middle of a highway. biggrin.gif

Okay, I have answers and amendments here.

The date is March 2nd 2071 (the book is non-specific so I'll use my daughters birthday...yay!) for the meet.

Location: Tickler's, a sleazy backalley stripclub downtown (Aiki). It is known to cater to the blue collar crowd (and...)

Amendment: add the following information, you are to be at the side door at 1040 where you will be let in. The side door is an alley.

BlackHat
Would you like us to post IC as far as up to the door? Like, are we going chit-chat outside before being let in? or are you planning to jump straight to the meet once everyone announces what they're bringing and how they're arriving?

Can I please get a load out of your PC for the meet ie Armor, clothes, drones nearby, weapons and ammo. Please post that here.

If it's March, Nuke is going to be driving his truck the meet rather than riding his motorcycle, as it's probably both cold and raining.

Edit: Screw it. He's from central Canada, so Seattle's cold weather is going to be laughable. He's riding the bike.
Red-ROM
hmm.. no changes for me, but I feel a lot better about bringing my gun and dressing like a slob. also, my non-drone gun is in the glove box of the van (Charlene).
gobogen
Hum.. I thought it was going to be some kind of club, not a sleazy crappy place. I'm starting to wonder about the Johnson. Should be interesting.

So instead, Flash will wear boots and a regular pair of jeans, since it's a dirty place (literally and figuratively), and also because it is possibly cold out and definitely rainy. She will also bring an additional clib of regular ammo for her predator. The rest of what she's wearing and bringing will remain the same.
Fuchs
Stray will wear her t-shirt, jacket, jeans and boots, and her predator, as well as the rest I listed.

Thank you everyone for posting your load outs.

@Fuchs: if Jasper and Nuke (send out drones/hack cameras) of stray, will you be posting the dirty pics for us? lol...sorry. You must really like doing those pics (or be bored)

I've posted in the main thread. Reply as little or as much as you like, but lets get this rolling before something else jumps up and bites me in the arse.

I won't violate posting rules nyahnyah.gif.

Too bad. We could have arranged for some "interesting developments" between Stray and my character (Female, Cha 6) wink.gif

Can do that without posting naughty pictures nyahnyah.gif
Fuchs
Had to edit the post - I misread the time to be there as 11 pm, not 10:40. Stray wouldn't be late for such an important meeting (would be earlier even, but DWC posted already)
gobogen
Edited my post also to reflect that.

Edit: re-edited for the new timing of arrivals, leaving space in between for Stray to arrive.
DWC
Sorry about that. Kind of spaced on that one. Shoved Nuke's arrival forward 30 minutes to avoid screwing everyone else up.
BlackHat
Buying 3 successes on E-sensing perception checks. Otherwise, just showing up, last-minute. I figure, if we don't necessarily need these to be in order, other PCs could show up before Discharge does (since he didn't mention many specifics)
Oenone
I've been having some technical troubles which seem to be getting worse.

Not sure if I'll fix them, but if I suddenly go quiet and don't post anything in the near future that'll be why. I've been having some technical troubles which seem to be getting worse.

I'm hoping to get things fixed soonish and might be able to manage weekly posts, but I wanted to give everyone a warning incase the worst happens.
ChipheadCharley
I'll be posting the next scene at 3pm (eastern) today, so any chit-chat you wish to conclude before the door opens should take place soon.

I've been contacted by a player, and if any of you have to "flashback" to earlier in the day for something or some reason, just remember this: any edge you spend for the flashback will be included in this segment of the game.
ChipheadCharley
Life threw me a curve and I had to come into work....I'll have a post by 8 pm or its free kharma, and i dont like to pass it around easily.
ChipheadCharley
Post is up

edit:WOOT! 100th post

Amazingly no one looked for stains on the couch lol
dionysus
Ignorance is bliss.
Fuchs
I assume stains would have been mentioned if present.
DWC
Based on the description of the place, I assumed they were there, and really, Nuke doesn't care. Amazing what a nice hot shower will fix.
gobogen
Flash doesn't wouldn't mind it too much, but she hasn't stated that she sat yet. wink.gif

This being said, are there any? question.gif
ChipheadCharley
I only threw that out to be funny...but, in light of the place yes there are, however they are faint as if an attempt has been made to remove them. Maybe its only the champagne and body make up......
Fuchs
ah, ok.
DWC
Compared to what's in the rain on everyone's clothes and their air that they're breathing, how bad could anything on the couch be?
Oenone
Well, you've got the possiblity of assorted nanites or tailored biological agents. Plus it could be soaked with explosives which react with specific chemicals produced by the human body.....

Of course if it's any of those the game is probably going to be pretty quick.
Fuchs
If they wanted the group dead and had such means they'd also have the means to simply blow the room up, or flood it with poison gas nyahnyah.gif
Oenone
But that's not nearly sinister and evil enough! And everyone knows if you're a villian who's going to kill everyone you have to at least try and be original or else all the other villians will make fun of you.

That and every good villian will break into a monolog explaining why, and how they got you into the trap. Or have I been reading to many comics?
DWC
Who says they'd want us dead? Much better to use the ticking cancerands to coerce us into doing something.
Red-ROM
you see, the chemical seal on armor isn't just a tactical thing, its good hygene in 2070. Who knows what kind of awakened "crotch rot" the stripper's last customer had?
Fuchs
Added information about Stray's aura to my last post, if anyone is assensing her. Does anyone run matrix searches?
BlackHat
Since there seems to be some of this going on:

Just about anyone would notice, as Jasper did, that Discharge does not look well. He's holding himself together, but he's "twitchy", and pale. Depending on your background, he might strike you as a junky, someone with bad cyber, or someone who is jsut really nervous and jumpy.

Anyone astrally perceiving Discharge will note that other than being strongly awakened (magic attribute of 6), and lacking any cyberware, someone who generated enough hits to pinpoint health problems would notice he has extensive neurological and nerve damage. He also has no spells currently on him, and no foci - and he's not astrally perceiving currently.

For those running emosoft type stuff, or just better at judge-intention tests than average, Discharge seems to be almost intentionally focusing his attention elsewhere - staring into space, maybe astrally perceiving, or maybe paying a lot of attention to AR. He certainly noticed the female members of the team, and the scantily clad women in the building, but seemed to intentionally turn his attention elsewhere.
DWC

Nah. Doing matrix searches on people while they're in the room is tacky. Much better to wait until after the meeting, when you send an agent off to spend an hour per person searching while you gather information related to the job. Just sayin'.
Red-ROM
I agree w/ DWC. a matrix search can come later. As far as Jasper's emotional state. He's pretty laid back, He's worked with Mrs J before so he's focusing more on his fellow "recruits". He's actually a little excited about the large crowd. reminds him of his army days.
Fuchs
Question: Do we use the old or the new sourcebook, since apparently there are some changes in the "20th anniversary edition"?
DWC
Fine with me. I'm still digging through the matrix rules looking for new things, but so far the ones that I've found have been for the better.
ChipheadCharley
I havent picked up the 20th aniver. yet, so old book.
Fuchs
What about errata?
Red-ROM
so, I think I've finally gotten all the source books, and now there's a reprint? of what book? the BBB? This is why I boycotted d&d's 3.5

also, not "seeing" the pictures yet leaves little to ask about, that wasn't summed up by Fuchs.

They reprint occasionally, either when running out or when there are erratas. You can download the errata for free, though, and the changes in this new 20th anniv. edition are supposedly coming out in errata.
