Several clarifications:
1) Barely legal means barely 18. ergo. All the girls look like high school seniors/college freshmen in age.
2) Credsticks and money: A credstick is an antiquated way of carrying money, but still widely in use. Like paper money is today. You can connect a credstick to any standard com (think USB port) and transfers money from or certified cred to it. Certified cred has actually replaced credsticks per se. The certified cred is like an electronic bank draft, drawn against and issued by a bank. To validate its legitimacy, you simply need a matrix connection that will sync to the bank and validate it as the authoritative copy of the cred. Once you validate to the bank, it changes validation keys thereby invalidating any fraudulent copies... So it is in your best interest to validate certified cred as soon as you get it.
You can also get wireless credsticks which slave to a com and routinely validate the funds. Since that kinda defeats the purpose, they are not very popular in my Shadowrun. Most certified cred are drawn against either Cayman banks or Zurich Orbital, both being outside the legal reach of most governments meaning you have little concern of being traced. Though if you are concerned about the Big-10, you better have your cred drawn against the latter.
When you 'spend' certified cred (as opposed to simply transferring it), the bank it is drawn against simply makes a transfer to a legitimate account of funds. Legitimate businesses who receive large amounts of certified cred, tend to have that cred "washed" by transferring it through shell accounts. Illegitimate businesses simply transfer the certified cred around. Banks that deal in certified cred deal in a bit of speculation regarding percentages of certified cred that will never be redeemed.

Ok, one more quick question. I can't find it in SR4 but i think in previous editions it was stated that credsticks had a digital readout of the balance? Is that the case?

Ok so i lied about just one more question. Is Athena still monitoring verbal comms within the conference or did she log out completely to go to work on Doc Wagon info? How many groups in Ugly Bobs appear to be conversing subvocal. Does it appear we would standout by holding our entire conversation subvocal?

Holy crap on a stick! After a 10 hour round-trip ride on bus, and 9 1/2 hours walking around the city i have returned home. I can honestly say i don't think my feet have ever hurt so much in my life

We went up to the 102 floor of the Empire State Building (which cost $99 for 2 adults and a child!!) and it gives a whole new perspective of what a metroplex would be like.
While we were there, there was four or five major incidents that required police intervention so hearing a large blast of sirens and seeing ten police cars go bomming by made me think of how we are going to get fragged by Lone Star. Anyway, i'm back...refreshed...and ready to play.

well Athena will be gone for a while since getting information on what we need i imagine will take some time. but if possible we need to sort out when we will next meet and ghost and i were going to go to the address of my box and check it out. i think if hawk has no problems with that we can part after dinner and meet up the next morning as we get information from Athena.

If its not clear for the description i intend to fire the Slivergun from its holster through the front opening of the coat. The weapon has electronic firing and skinlink with no trigger. I am sure there will be some sort of penalty but if i have enough time before things get crazy i would like to use what time i have declaring a "Take Aim" action to get the bonus to hit. If multiple take aims are possible i'd like to use all but the last for the bonus to hit and the last to do increased damage with the penalty to hit.

As an FYI, Hawk's gun is silenced so the screams are all that is really heard outside and Val's reaction should have been first, but I think this works so lets just roll with it.

question though if Val's condition would promote the knowledge of this or would he have to find out the hard way. pg. 141 SR4 v13 states the only terms for me to fire the two weapons right, no smartgun bonus. since both dice pools are the same Pistol and SMG don't have to worry about that. thats it though right, what other negatives do i encure besides the ones from my wounds? which are -1 for wounds and -1 from drinking which makes it a total of -2.

You character (like you) should know that firing two weapons at one time makes it harder to hit with either.

+ Firearms(3) = dp11/2 = dp6 and dp5
SMG: dp6 +wounds(-1) + Intoxication(-1) = dp4
Pistol: dp5 +wounds(-1) + Intoxication(-1) + Off-Hand(-2) = dp1
Are you shooting both or one? In either case, give me a roll, one way or another.

i will shoot at both, i will make a IC post when once this round is over to increase my chances of sucess with one weapon lol. as for duel weilding guns i will use common sense next time
