OK, wow. So, there's nine of us. Blackhat's idea of the rest of us being Tag's rescue team has some merit. Figuring out the relationships should be a real joy! Looking at the team through Bongo Slade's eyes, and seeing how we match up:
Three others also have addictions. We will be trading drugs like there's no tomorrow.
Two others also have the adept power Linguistics. We will be trading languages like there's no yesterday.
One other also lists himself as the most loved person.
One other also dumped school early. (Let's not discuss that penile implant!)
One other also finds art interesting.
One other is also heavily into metamagic extra-sensory perception.
One other also has a strong dislike for authority figures.
Oddly enough, the artist may make the first strong connection with the artifice. Tag is desperate to find a purpose. Bongo knows his own purpose with rock solidity. Tag will be curious about that, I'm sure. And Bongo has never spoken to one such as Tag before. "What is that language you speak?"

It also looks like just about everyone is based out of Seattle (except for my character, but he is planning on leaving town, perhaps arriving in Seattle as the game starts), so that is certainly common ground for the PCs to start off knowing each other.
To make the peer review easier, here are links to the characters that have been posted:

As a hook for prior contact with each other, I notice that Max has a contact that is an Aztechnology Johnson. Flax's background lists a history of working for one or more Aztlan Johnsons, though he didn't know of their Aztlan connection at the time. I'd say that it is entirely possible that Max and Flax (ugh) have worked together in the past, the former as the front man and the latter as the man in the shadows.

yea, that sounds good, Max was a "fixer" level character origianaly, so he's kinda built like that.
Kit- Max Is looking to grow his new found magical talents, so he may have come into contact with you that way, although they differ greatly in idiology. What tradition are you?(and did you buy the magic quality? i didn't see it listed)
Richard- not a whole lot in common, but I too was Late to awaken and also went through the discovery of "astral sight", and every runner meets a street doc sooner or later
Tag- I imagine that if we met, it was for Forgery purposes, Thats a big part of Max's livelyhood, and requires some serious matrix work.
Tristan- We have a difference of oppinion on aztechnology and little in common, but I know a lot of smugglers in and out of salish lands
Pyro-Max probably won't be impressed with the way you dress, But you are a much better mage than he. He is currently trying to find a good talismonger, and anyone awakened he can network with.
Sidewinder- worlds apart man, But I do know a Native American gang thats works all over Salish-shida territory and I speak a little of the language.
Bongo- Music, magic, drugs? I bet we've been to some of the same parties
-Hope I didn't miss anybody

Thanks You!
I could not see where those extra points where coming from. The excel sheet I was using listed the Magician quality in a different place.
I'll correct that.
Kit follows a variation of the Shinto tradition. Shinto is religion of paying respect and begging the favor of the 8 Million Kami and of your own ancestors. It includes Buddhist traditions.
Per Wiki "Shinto is a religion in which practice (actions) and ritual, rather than words, are of the utmost importance. Shinto is characterized by the worship of nature, ancestors, polytheism, and animism, with a strong focus on ritual purity, involving honoring and celebrating the existence of Kami (神?). Kami are defined in English as "spirit", "essence" or "deities", that are associated with many understood formats; in some cases being human like, some animistic, others associated with more abstract "natural" forces in the world (mountains, rivers, lightning, wind, waves, trees, rocks). It may be best thought of as "sacred" elements and energies. Kami and people are not separate; they exist within the same world and share its interrelated complexity."
As an expatriate urbanite, she as learn to follow her own path to the Kami.
The Bon Odori, a Japanese Buddhist festival to honor the departed (deceased) spirits of one's ancestors in July, is very important to her.
She also has a strong respect for the local Kami (of what ever name or tradition) and to anyone who listens to the Kami.
She will spend some time researching the local Kami and earning their favor.
And as one who listens to the Kami and her ancestors (only half of whom are Japanese), she has an extensive knowledge of Magic Theory.
She also has an abhorrence of spirits and places that are twisted.
For common interest...
She regularly will visit parks or gardens and loves to get back to nature every couple of weeks.
She also has a keen sense of smell so any thing that involves things that smell good interest her.
She has a fascination with all things magical and loves to talk shop.

Tag is new to the Seattle scene (within the last two years). As far as "hooding", Tag's expenses are pretty high, but payment is not generally its motivation for doing its job - nor is reputation. In fact, if Tag was extracted by "the team" and continued to help in the last year's jobs, it would be happy getting little or no credit, as long as its maintenance requirements were met. One way or another, the work we do ends up helping someone.

Flax's interaction with Blackwing was longer ago than that, but it is possible that he was alive until a few years ago. Blackwing has been taking on student's for a long time, so it is also possible that Runs-with-Coyotes was also a student of his at some point. Two things for sure, though, are that Blackwing and Runs-with-Coyotes are not one and the same, and that Blackwing is not alive today. Another person from the area that is still alive, however, is a PCC task mage named Jose Ramirez. For all we know, Ramirez and Coyotes could be cousins. Ramirez and Flax both studied under Blackwing during the same time period, and the two of them still remain in contact with each other.

Now that you mention it, Runs-with-Coyotes did mention an older shaman whom he had never been able to trick. He hoped some day to pull one over on the old guy.

Hey, I dusted off a vignette from when I made Max originally(keep in mind, he was designed as a fixer):
[ Spoiler ]
Vignette:
Everything is put on hold, gotta hold on, big cheese on line one.. its all good, all systems go.Max pulled his chair over to the office node and checked the encryption. He ran a finger under his nose with a sniff, gave a quick shake, and answered the call. With his normally huge smile stretching wider, his super white teeth could blind anyone nearby, he answered the man in shadows on the other end of the comm,"Big Sam! Sam the man, I have the ball rolling your way com padre! You have 1,500 shares Of Jade investments, which I can guarantee Will be eagerly gobbled up by Friday for a Net gain of 75%, less my commission of course" Max glanced back to his commlink at the other end of the desk, not really looking at the screen just visually referencing it as he went through the content in his head. "Your Grandson's gift has also been ordered and should arrive at his house in two days"
Talking in code seemed almost unnecessary, but this isn't the place for almost. The man on the other end said nothing. Just nodded in the dark and hung up. Max slid back to the other end of his desk and brought up the AR from his current commlink. In front of him were 5 windows. Three commcalls on hold and two chats waiting for replies. He started typing as he answered the first call,"Molly, My Lady, How's the team holding up?"
The AR gloves didn't exactly complement his newest Zoe suite with its alternating blue and orange cuffs. But it did allow him to recline as he typed to his contact in the Bushers gang outside of Aberdeen. <<If your guests tamper with the gifts, they'll have to be dealt with>>
Molly seemed somewhat irritated, but she was always on edge when they got in the thick of it. "they're hold up somewhere near Aberdeen for the night, I got a good feel from these guys at the meet, but what if they get curious?"
"It's all about checks and balances Baby-doll. The Bushers are gonna keep them in line, and your team is hot enough to keep the Bushers from getting greedy. Now I gotta jet babe, I got customs on hold for tomorrow, And some serious cred to spread, so hit me up after the Party. "
If all goes well Maxi, you'll be nipples deep in Nuyen by the weekend.

Tristan has mostly been around the Seattle plex - a few jaunts into tribal lands, a job in Denver and two trips to L.A. He is relatively new as a runner, but did more or less the same stuff as a company man. He did a mix of security work, covert ops, and shady negotiations. An attempt at getting to know people. Hope its all right. Kit this is aimed at you, Did you decide on male or female?
Max blinks as the cieling comes into focus. It's confusing because the ceilings in his apartment all have mirrors, so he's looking at himself as though he were standing.However, the pain, and the floor against the back of his head tell him differently. He can see the blood running from his nose, and he sits up and wipes his face. It wasn't the coke this time. He had knocked himself out trying to summon a spirit again. Just what I need, another hobby with nose bleeds. A soft "ping" from the Livingroom told him he had a message waiting. He pulled himself up and got on the node in the second bedroom that he converted into his "Lodge". This magic stuff was a whole new world for him, but , as with everything else, he was learning fast. the trideo sprang to life with a message from Sam;
<<I'm glad your exploring your new talents. I've included a list of people who might help. You'll have to do the networking yourself, But I know thats not a problem. Keep me posted. I have need of people like this. It could be very benificial to everyone concerned.>>Sam was scary like that. He seemed to know everything, and everything had strings attached. Max tended to be a little more friendly, but he had to respect the man's style. He looked over the list, moved it to his comm and deleted the message. The list was local Talismongers and magic mover and shakers. It was hard to tell much from a list of names, so he went by location. Renton was close by, and not a bad neighborhood. Daisy Quallon, She sounded like an elf. Max did a quick Matrix search for general info, and then sent a message to the commcode sam had sent him. She stayed pretty vague with her messages, But Max convinced her to meet him and geve him the address of her shop.
5:30 Daisy Quallon's shop, RentonMax pulled up to a mini mall,In the westwind he was testdriving, and scanned the storefronts. Lodged between a Commlink store and a soycream parlor was "the Arcane Collection". The shop was crowded with junk and deserted of people. The smell of strange oils and plants just about knocked Max over. At the back of the store he saw an Elf woman standing with another elf With dark hair and sunglasses. He couldn't tell if the second elf was male or female from this distance, But wearing sunglasses indoors was a good sign that it was his kind of people. Max made his way across the floor as they watched his aproach
,"I hope I'm not interupting, Are you mrs. Quallon? My name is Max Broman" He took off his mirrored sunglasses and smiled his super white smile.
