Is the Perception roll for in the Matrix? Because with defaulting and -4 modifier Chaske will get 0 dice.

If it's Matrix Perception though he stands a chance of making it.

Righto! He does have a camera, mic and some sensors in his helmet, however. When he first went into VR he set a small window in a corner tied into those so he could keep an eye on his meat-body. Not saying he's keeping a close eye on it though, he's a combination stoned + really interested at what's going on in Matrixland!

So is there anything I can roll to try and Trace User to the Forward Team's node? Chaske just wants to get in there and check out one of their vid feeds or something to see what's going on.

I forgot about his helmet! Sure, give me a Matrix Perception roll, but -2 since you're distracted from the Window. That'll wash out with the Technomancer +2 bonus for Matrix Perception tests in general.
