A note just in case anyone is still watching this thread..... I may think about starting anther game up soon. send me a message if your interested, I dont have anything concrete yet... wanted to get an idea of numbers/charecters first.

He always struck me as the quiet hero type...perhaps things could go really bad in the escape and he sacrifices himself so that the rest of the team has a chance for escape?

Regardless, I'm liking the idea for sacrificial death, but I may just fudge the edges a little like I did with Stone - I like the ambiguity.

Short Bio: I am a 31 year old avid gamer. Mostly table top, but I have tried some PBEM as well as a fair share of PC games. I have at least tried most every RPG published and consider SR my favorite as well as the one I have played most. I still have my hardcover first edition copy I purchased at Gencon in 1989. Man now I really feel old.

What build system is typically used for new charcters here? If points how many?

I usually use priorities as I struggle to use points effectively and can never make a charecter quite as good as if I use points!

Hrmm... The Character I just finished a little while ago and the one I am wanting most to play is an Ork, but not a PhysAd. The concept is a Street Face. I just have to flush out his contacts.
Well that still means the muscle is taken care of.... (but how much is too much muscle?! )

The character is based on an older (and more experienced) pen and paper character I played many years back, before there were official rules for vodoun; we used the old Shadows Over the Big Easy material from White Wolf Magazine. Damn, there was some fun stuff in there... I still have him, bless his soul
Which reminds me - anyone got a copy of MitS? I can't make myself buy it with SR4 on the horizon, but I wanted to convert an old spell into the new edition. It's basically a close range damaging health spell (in the old days it had a base damage code of D, these days I suppose it would be variable like most of the others).
