That one's always confused me, too. I always assumed they meant "added Adaptation Pool through this option" since there'd be no way to calculate it correctly considering other options available.
But if you wanna go with the higher cost, go for it. It shouldn't make a huge difference in the final cost.

Don't feel too bad. I gave up trying to calculate all that crap a looooong time ago. The formula I generally use is Vehicle Body^8 for dikoe and a tenthof that for Ruthenium. So for a Body 7 vehicle, that would require just over 82,000 units. Hey, it works good for low Body vehicles....

Edit: Shoot, I was misremembering. It's Body^4. So that would be 2,401 units (240 for Ruthenium). It's sad when you can't even remember your own house rules...

Why buy so many? Just use many of the same techniques on your drones and tweak 'em out to high heaven. They'll be more useful in the long run, I imagine, especially if the dragon decides to stay in his Secret Underground Volcano Lair of Doom.

More helis means more carrying room for more drones. Otherwise we start running out of drones and I have to resort to jumping out of the heli and walking in, only to get torched because he's a Rigger, not a Sammie.
It all depends on how much the rest of my gear costs, though.
And I still need senses from several people before I can finish.

Get a big ol' tank to carry your other drones in if you really gotta. But with all that space you have now, I just can't imagine how you're going to run out of space unless you're planning on lots of drones with a Body of 3+.

Pretty much anything that is concidered Senseware can be a port for the TacCom, however, the GM can always say that certain senses don't help in different situations (ie: Enhanced Taste).

Yes, those get first shot. After that is drones and unique senses, with the remaining going towards a few from everybody (mostly stuff like Ultrasound/Thermo).

Uh, have you looked at my helicopter? And the drones?
Light Railgun + Great Dragon ATGM on the heli and GDATGM on the drones. If we weren't facing a dragon, that would be overkill.
