Also, I'm basically out for tonight, I'll make any necessary revisions and additions tomorrow. I really want to sleep so I can work out and go to school tomorrow instead of just sitting around trying not to hurt myself too much.
Talk to you guys more in the morning, and maybe more tonight, depends on my head.

Doc,
I don't have Augmentation, so what ruling is there on bioware/cultured bioware with respect to grades (standard, alpha, etc.)
Thanks.
Ol' Scratch
Sep 21 2007, 06:36 AM
Go crazy with it. Bioware can be graded just like Cyberware and Nanocybernetics. Only Genetech is unavailable at higher grades.
Contact me on Yahoo or AIM or something (Necrotic_Penguin and Neurotic Cupcake respectively) and we can try to find stuff appropriate to 'Bill.

Doc,
Today, I wanted to kill a few people at work - I was supposed to be off, so I am behind where I wanted to be for the game. I plan to have my completed list to you this evening. My mom is in town visiting for a few days so it may be late tonight.

Rules Change:I erroneously thought that deltaware had a x8 cost multiplier instead of x10 (silly me), so I altered my guidelines to reflect my original intention. This change only applies to non-magicians, however, so no need to go hunt it down again if you're not one.
Alex: Sure thing, family always comes first.

No that was jsut a really great party that no one wanted to clean up after. There was a big bill, and well, we hadn't managed to fence all the goods we got from raiding Fortuna's Manor, so we were a bit short. Most of the Legions are eitehr in "hiding" waiting for lunch, or sleeping off the hang overs.

Groovy. Looking forward to everyone's characters. I have a fun little romp set up for the first mini-run who's main purpose is to get everyone used to everyone else's playstyles as well let the characters mature as a group a little. Nothing serious at all, but I'm still going to enjoy it with you all.

fistandantilus4.0
Sep 23 2007, 02:16 AM
Playing an Ally Spirit is hardly a bit part IMO, but I do think it's a good idea. My only concern is that it's sort of effectively adding another playre, which , from a GMs POV, can be a huge load of work. Just tossing in my 2 yen.
Ol' Scratch
Sep 23 2007, 02:44 AM
Yeah. That's why I had the player limit to begin with. It's a great idea, but one I'm not really interested in pursuing.

Yeah, Thomas's Ally Spirit is a very large part of his life. He treats him like a brother. They talk and work together, have alot of the same interests, eat out together at least once a week etc. etc. Not a bit part in his life or the game at all.

Sorry to interrupt the chatter, but does anyone have any idea's for a second signature item for a Heavy Weapons Troll who already has serious armour (my first item). I'm getting weapons as needed as part of the deal, and already do 10P with my fist so mele weapons aren't needed.
Alternatively would I be allowed one of those Mood Biodrones as a pet (with some mods to improve it's mood?
Apart from that and knowledge skills I'm finished.

Hell, I haven't even got
one signature thingie ... especially since I didn't get an answer from Doc to my PM of about a week ago about it.
Ol' Scratch
Sep 23 2007, 05:39 PM
Did I miss something?

If I do, please don't hesitate in asking again. I'm a scatterbrain.
As for signature items, they can be just about anything you want as long as it at least focuses a little on your original concept. They also don't
have to be powerful or even expensive, and you don't
have to have two of them. "My grandpappy's old pocketwatch" is just as viable as "a pimped-out GMC Banshee."
That said, a "mood biodrone" is pretty iffy for Critical Bill. An anchoring focus is always good, especially if you try to coordinate with one of the more magical members of the group as to what spell it holds to see if they can recharge it for you. You could even donate some of the cash from your personal account to buy the spell for them if necessary.

Thomas lives with his ally Bob in a very nice one level apartment with it's own basement lab, which is where they spend most of their time. He will probably slowly open up to you guys, but he is very much dedicated to his research.
So, no house servants for them. Nice cars, really nice food, etc... no servants though. No one untrained can be trusted near the experiments, and he is an adult damn it. He doesn't need someone to wait on him hand and foot. Not to mention his mother drops by regularly and always cleans no matter how spotless things are.

Heather doesn't have a mother, but Bryce has been with the family since long before she was born. And he is quite loyal.

I
really tried to squeeze in an Ally Spirit (even a really weak one), but I just couldn't do it.

I'm a REALLY dedicated magician/doctor. Doing experimental research combining both of them actually. Using his good friend Bob the elohim ally spirit to help in his incredible research. It all started back when he somehow cured his mother of a wasting illness with what should have been a simple possession to keep her alive so the doctors could work longer....... anyway, magic of 8, 26 spells, Force 6 ally spirit with 44 karma in him. Thomas is VERY much a dedicated magician.

Sadly my Ally only has two forms, one a rather bookish 30-something year old human with a sarcastic sense of humor, and the other a 7 foot tall elohim. Genderless, ageless, wings of fire, etc.

He doesn't happen to have a sign over the door labeled "Wizard" does he?
Or perhaps a Star contact named Murphy?
