1 okay let's say you make a character and get the astral sight quality from SM pg 24. You also want cyber or bio for this character. basically they automatically would lose the benefits of this quality and it would be a waste for them to get, atleast thats how it sounds from the (essence loss automatically reduces magic) thing.
According to RAW, any cyber kills Astral Sight, Spell Knack or Spirit Knack abilities. I wish these would of gone in as not being affected by essense loss, until your essense dropped below 1. Also some type of resistance to mana static areas.

You get cyber or lose essence by one point for whatever reason. You lose the one magic and are automatically burnout or can you, since you have essence left, still spend karma to get it back?
If you loose your 1 point of magic before raising it, then you are a burnout. You have to have magic to raise it.
