Invisible howitzers...
Remind me again, this thread is about the best way to get the UCAS military to descend on Seattle?

Of course, purely canon-wise, 12 miniguns are fortunate to get to the RoF that you can achieve with 2 miniguns IRL. 3 actions of FA per CT per minigun nets 540 rounds per CT = 10,800rpm. That's only 27kg of ammo per CT.

Using common sense, you can get 48,000rpm (4,000rpm per minigun), and ammo weighs under half of what SR3 claims, for about 50-55kg per CT.

A small truck would probably be better than a van though.

It's no stranger than the "magical adept with a knack for heavy artillery." grinbig.gif

This whole idea sounds expensive.

One time, my team swiped a van, modded it up and mounted a great dragon missile launcher in the back. We drove in front of our mark's car on his ride to work, popped the back doors open and blew him up, then tossed a briefcase of drugs and money onto the wreckage.

And no one noticed that the briefcase wasn't damaged by the blast, or in a location that would indicate that it had come from inside the car?
If you're good, waiting at a pedestrian overpass with an SMG or a sawed-off shotgun can work nicely for commuter assassinations.

A 60-year-old howitzer or the ammo for it shouldn't be too expensive, maybe about double the price of the M-12 Mortar for both the weapon and ammo (12,000 for the howitzer and 1,500 per shot). 12 Vindicators only cost 60,000, and standard ammo is cheap as dirt. You can get 8 tubes of rocket launching goodness with 32,000, though the missiles are 2,000/pop.

If you're really going to wage war against Lone Star, you can't afford to be cheap about these things.

Good questions. Maybe our GM decided that someone did notice, but we ended that campaign before reprocussions would have shown up. On the other hand, maybe he decided that the case recieved enough damage from the ensuing fire and any secondary explosions, and could have been thought to be ejected from the car in the incident, or it landed in the wreckage... I dunno.
