I think it went from 4-6 per mission to 5-7 per mission, so a 20% increase, while raising a stat went up by almost 70%.
It went up more than that, I think its 6-8 base (like, it'd be hard to get less than 6, as it has a 5 base +1 for survival kind of dealy) with a maximum of 12 or 13.
