The Score

The players are hired to collect a gambling debt from a mid-level sariman who's decided he's too big and too powerful to pay up. He's made it clear that he'll use company resources if necessary to protect himself, and has alluded to even using a company sponsored team to take out the people he owes. They want their money, and then they want a message sent.

Classic Car

The PC's are hired to retrieve a 1972 Gran Torino that's in mint condition from a corporate playboy, a man with money and protection, and a love for fast classic cars.

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow

The sky is abnormally dark on this particular day in the plex, aggravating allergies and blocking out what little light their was normally. Freak acid rain storms burst all over the city and seem more corrosive than usual. No one can locate the cause and conditions appear to be worsening. The PC's are called in by a government contact to perform an unofficial investigation. Can they find the source of the additional pollutants? What are they manufacturing? Bonus points if airborne biproducts cause some kind of mutation on the population (temporary zombie apocalypse!).

Quiet Riot?
The whole area around the group in one of the nicer parts of town seem to have a massive group of Wageslaves and other "Not living in the barrens" types mingling around, and seeming like a riot waiting to happen. The area is full of tension and barely contained rage.

There's a sale on soykaff at a major chain, and everyone is lining up to get their cheap fix.

Your Karma Ran Over My Dogma

En route to an important meeting with a Johnson/contact, PC's encounter two awakened religious figures prosthelytizing before a large crowd at a busy intersection. Each continues to increase the volume and pitch of their patter in efforts to one up the other and as their frustrations flare, it eventually escalates into a no hold's barred magical battle to prove who's divine authority is superior. Bystanders caught in the crossfire rush into the streets in panic locking down the busy thoroughfare and delaying LE response.

Kitty Rescue

A little girl is crying next to a tree. She flags you down, asking if you could rescue her kitty from the tree. The rest of this is up to the GM, but keep in mind:
The little girl might be a little girl. Or maybe a gnome, who may or may not have an ulterior motive.
The kitty might be a domestic feline. Or wild. Or not a kitty. Or maybe there's nothing there but a glue-trap. Now why would someone want to trap someone, maybe even you specifically, in a tree? (GM smile)

Blackberry Cat?

OH THE METAHUMANITY!
A beer truck on the way to the store tipped over and spilled it's load all over the road. There's broken glass and spilled beer of the group's favorite brands all over the place. None are salvageable.
