So, I just realized that I'll have a full runner team in tye next fourteen years or so. My oldest would be 18 (b&e), my other son would be 16 (rigger), and my little girk would be 14 (hacker, hey, /dev/grrl did it). My wife would be the face and I'd be the meat shield.

Time to start teaching my oldest to pick locks!

You have a Girk? Wow, you're Lucky. I don't have a Girk. frown.gif

I also have fat thumbs and a tiny (>3") touch screen (single sensor) phone that I do most of my posts from. Typos are the norm form me. But now I want to make a girk, maybe a metavarient for humans?

Maybe get a cyberdeck to strap to your arm like Bull has?

Now there is an option... where can I get one?
MADness
I'd be happy with a hardware keyboard period, honestly. I has become my only complaint about the phone.

You get a cyberdeck, rip the guts out, and put a commlink inside. nyahnyah.gif

Ooh, ooh, take an iPhone and put it in a Nokia 3310 cover... wait... I somehow don't think that'll help performance in any way.

Why would anyone want to insult a Nokia that way???

And I like the idea of the family man shadowrunner, Pax. How did the character turn out?

NEver finished it. smile.gif The question arose during a "thought experiment" character-building session ... I'm in the same boat CanRay is in, WRT actually playing Shadowrun.

Yea, that time thing does get in the way.
_Pax._
It's not a time thing for me. It's a "lack of nearby group to join" thing. As it is, teh group I GM? It's located in northeast CT; two players come from mid-Massachusetts (maybe an hour away), one from southern NH (an hour and ahalf or so away).

It's not like it was in highschool, where after moving to a new town I could just turn to the kids on either side of me in class and say "hey, d'you play D&D?" or whatever. biggrin.gif

I wish one person in my class Had played DnD or something of the like T.T

Hah. Eight classes, I got one "yes", from a kid two years younger than me. I'd transferred to the school for my Junior year - that's 11th grade, roughly age 16, for any non-American readers out there - from a school with no foreign language courses, so I wound up in a Freshman (grade 9, age ~14) class for French. And that class was the only one where I got a "yes, I do" response. smile.gif
