Just to insure that we are in sync on contacts, I use the loyalty chart from sr4a page 286. A loyalty 1 may not always remember your name or may need a reminder about who you are. Loyalty 2 will always recognize you, but is still not a friend/buddy/chummer. Loyalty 3 is someone who has known you for some time while 4+ is a friend. Those ratings can change in game and new contacts can be gained, but like in real life, bumping those numbers requires work on the part of the character.

Don't beat yourself up about it. Not every piece of prose needs to be a literary masterpiece. The simplicity of the entry gave it a sense of immediacy. I found myself feeling feeling sympathy for both Moses and Tracy. Your last line gave me a slight shiver as I recalled the circumstances surrounding Jack between Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick.

I'm sad to hear Moses is retiring. I liked him a lot and was really getting interested in his story.

Talked with Redjack about it. I wasn't happy with the character. I wanted to play more in a noir setting then I wanted to create one, and that just doesn't ever work. (Well, it works if the player is lazy and will whine until the setting conforms to him, and I'm not willing to do either.)

I've got a second character brewing up for a week now that should be far more easy to play and perhaps more entertaining. Think comedic depression.
