TinkerGnome
Shoot everyone except the target, you mean.
Noctum
Yea, Not the target...
Fresno Bob
Have you considered the possibility that he's, y'know...not at the bar?
TinkerGnome
Nope. We're kind of dense. That's the kind of thing an astral recon might tell us, though wink.gif
Noctum
Yes of course I've considered it but you go with the info you have first if we don't find him there then we hit the streets and find info on the gang and a possible hideout.
Fresno Bob
Well, you sounded like you were going to shoot the fuck out of it...

On another note
Where does the astral recon stand?
I assume that is the next logical step?
I will go ahead and put a call into Fredrick the fixer Level 2(6 dice)to see if he might be able to dig up any info on the gang, and such.Have him keep his ear to the ground if he hears anything about the kidnap victim's whereabouts.

Mine as well check my Lonestar Level 1 cop(5 dice) as well for the same info while we are waiting.
TinkerGnome
Kat'll get on the phone, as well. She'll call up Mercer (KE Detective), Gordon (LS Cop), and Ripperjack (her old pimp) and prospect for info on the gang. Etiquette 6, good rep 2 edge (if it helps).
cheezypoof714
Kat has an old pimp?
Does she have a new one? wink.gif
TinkerGnome
Ask her that IC and see what happens. You might want to make sure your Docwagon contract is payed up, though. wink.gif
cheezypoof714
No need for the hostility.
Just killing time.
Does she wanna armwrestle? wink.gif
TinkerGnome
I'm not being hostile, notice the winky smiley wink.gif

She doesn't charge for it anymore, though. And yes, she does arm wrestle. Just not well.
cheezypoof714
HHmmm.Maybe they can have a match later....when noones looking.Getting beat publicly by a female breeder isn't in Traz's game plan. wink.gif

Knowing my luck you would roll a 24 on the opposed test and break his arm.A devestating compound fracture in 2 places.

Any other astrally perceiving mages out there?
Fresno Bob
Just post your character's next actions...
Fresno Bob
Oh wait, the contacting of the contacts. I shall handle that tomorrow...later today. Whatever. I'm tired right now. I ended up going to a really shitty concert at the behest of a girl...damn women, and their woman-charms.
Hunter
Before I forget (again), what did Reth pick up on said patron's emotional states?
Fresno Bob
They were a little distressed, but somewhat relaxed.
Fresno Bob
Frederick knows nothing about gangs.

Lonestar cop knows only that they're a pain in his ass.

Mercer and Gordon know pretty much that.

Ripperjack, however, knows them to be some of his best and worst customers. The leader is a big troll named Big Guzz, and the lieutenant is a human physad named Spike.
Glyph
Stitch probably won't talk to Shrike or Will... he doesn't exactly have them on speed dial, and they are (presumably) hitting this place tonight, giving him just enough time to get his gear. However, he will probably contact them (and maybe John and Billie, too) if the bar doesn't pan out.

To save time, I'll give his gear list now.

He will have his bonded foci, of course, and 3 of his expendable foci. He will be wearing his FFBA and Ulysses coat. He will be wearing his wrist phone and DocWagon bracelet and have his fake ID on him. He will be carrying 700 Nuyen in certified cred - 200 on one stick, and 500 on a more hidden one.

In one of his duffel bags, he will have his medkit, 3 antidote and 1 trauma patches, wire cutters, metal restraints, and his micro-transceiver/external transducer. He will also have about 2 meters of fiber-optic cable in case he needs to do something like upload a photo from his headware memory to a tridscreen.
TinkerGnome
Kat gets her info and dissiminites it to the group. When that's done, she gathers up her stuff and heads down to the target bar with the rest of the team.
Fresno Bob
Ok...let's move the posts back to the IC thread now...
TinkerGnome
Damn it, I thought I was wink.gif
Panzergeist
Okay, so if we fail to save the hostage, let's go to the pet store and buy them another mafia soldier that looks just like him, and hope they don't notice the difference.
Fresno Bob
It's worth a shot.
Panzergeist
Wait, that gives me a really crazy idea. Were any of those goombahs magically active? What if we just cast physical mask on one of us to make him look and sound like the hostage, and pretend we rescued him? We simply bring him to the johnsons, get our money, then he sneaks away a few hours later.
Fresno Bob
Yeah...two of them were magically active.

Hey, I've got a crazy idea. You could just...you know, do the job.
Hunter

Why? Then we can't argue about the plan anymore. biggrin.gif
Beast of Revolutions
Heh heh, that's awesome. That would be a great idea if only they weren't magically active. It would be pretty funny to try.
Fresno Bob
Now, none of you can be waiting on me...

So post!
Glyph
Okay, I'll assume that the scene has changed then (to the outside of the target bar, like Tinkergnome's last post). smile.gif
Beast of Revolutions
Alright, my contacts aren't really useful in this situation, but here's a gang identification roll: 2 4 4. I already know the gang isn't one of the major ones listed in New Seattle.
Panzergeist
I don't have gang ident, but I do have a contact who just might be useful. His name is Monkey, he's an auto mechanic, and he's a level 2 contact. Maybe he worked on their bikes at some point. I call him up on my cell.
Fresno Bob
Waiting on astral recon guy...
Hunter
*blink blink*
Did I miss the post when we arrived around the bar?
Panzergeist
Yes.
Hunter
*sigh*
Of course.... frown.gif
Noctum
Zeke was hoping to be hidden across the street in an alley where he could watch the front and possibly one side of the building?? He would be carrying his Manhunters under his long coat and his Silenced M23 with scope would be in a dufflebag waiting to be removed if needed.

Would that be possible?
Panzergeist
mech will stay in his van outside the bar. But what are we at this bar for? I seem to have missed that bit. Did we find out that the gang hangs out here? And did we find out the gangs name?
Fresno Bob
The bar is where the drop is supposed to be made.

Yes. Zeke can, indeed, be doing that. I just need to think about what I'll post next.
Panzergeist
2 2 3 5 7 13 on the passive sensor test. The van has a sensor rating of 4, but active sensors are not on.
cheezypoof714
I'm going to post IC here in a couple minutesTraz is over in the alley with Zeke. As far as gear goes:

*Desrt Eagle MarkXXVI-2 clips
*H&K 227sw/sound suppresor-2 clips
*2 Smoke Grenades
*Lined Coat
Panzergeist
So, is anyone else in the Pimpmobile besides Mech, Reth, and Cleaver?
Beast of Revolutions
So, is anyone actually going to go in? Who has good social skills? And is Reth going to come back and tell the rest of us what he saw?
Fresno Bob
Yeah, I was totally wondering that myself.
TinkerGnome
Kat's not moving until she gets the astral recon report. Once that happens (GM fiat if you need to) we'll move.
Beast of Revolutions
Okay, roll call. Who is still with us?
Noctum
me
Hunter

Reth is still waiting to hear back from the GM on what he sees inside. (Unless I missed it somehow).
Fresno Bob
I told you what you see inside...
Glyph

I'm still here. I did a post establishing myself near the bar (I'm probably near wherever Kat is, as my post had me responding to her information), so I was waiting for Reth to come back with his report. Stitch has decent social skills, although Kat's are better.
