Date/time stamps would really help me out.
So far as I know, it's about 5pm, the day of the meet for Freddie, and he should be showing up at the target area in the next couple of minutes.

Bearclaw--I think Fenris was trying to keep it a little loose because we were all travelling differing distances with differing methods...I know as a GM I certainly wouldn't want to keep track of how long it takes Will to fly from New York and Twilight to come in from Paris, while extrapolating the time savings of hitting Mach 4 for a few seconds and cruising at Mach 3 to cover a few other people.
I'd say insert yourself and we can all work it out...

Blitz - Your link is fubar again

Also, are you wearing a longcoat or a normal coat, and either way, what's the concealability of your armor and weapons?
Bearclaw -
McQuillan was exactly right. As I mentioned, I was pretty much just letting you guys do what you wanted and arrive at the meet site when you want, which is why I'm not posting time/date stamps. For awhile, some of you were 6-8 hours behind the others.

As I'm not especially good at this IC, I'll do it out of character.
Freddie looks like:
Mask = Stevie Nicks, circa 1978 or so, in white lace and a black hat.
Real life = A Brooks Brothers business suit, charcol grey, with a white shirt, red suspenders, and matching blue with red and white diagonal stripes tie and handkerchief. A wrap around Ziess optical shades, a charcol grey Mortimer Great Coat and fedorah complete the outfit. Freddie is 193 cm (6'4") and fairly heavy solidly built (97K, or 213#). His skin is very pale, and his teeth and nails are both much more pointy than they should be. His limbs seem to be a little too long for his body, and any careful examination reveals that he's bald under the hat.
Astral = A huge, muscular black man, naked from the waist up, with an empty oil lamp hanging from his belt.

You have to beat my successes to pierce the illusion, don't you? If so, you didn't make it.
PS, as I can't see the picture, what does she look like?
The picture in my head was Kate Beckinsdale from Underworld. But that's mostly because I like that picture
BishopMcQ
Nov 15 2005, 07:06 PM
Bearclaw--I have to meet or beat. My TN to resist is the Force of the spell, I believe it's also my TN for the Centering...You have 6 successes. If the spell is Force 5+ than I don't pierce it, Force 4 or less than I do...
The description of Kate Beckinsale is close...

Gotcha, so it's force 5 and you don't see anyone but Stevie, although the astral form is definately out of synch with the form in front of you.

Just an FYI, this week I'm moving from San Diego, and heading up north to visit family in San Jose and in Boise before moving to Florida for a few months. I should have internet in San Jose and in Boise, but not while traveling. (driving so there are a couple days I'll be out) This is probably the last time I'll have access to internet before I get to San Jose so if need be, please auto me until I can get back online.
Sorry!!

Sorry guys, delays at this point have been mostly on me. Recovering from GenCon and Thanksgiving, blah blah blah, all the standard excuses

Things will be moving along at this point, however.
[b]Those of you that are currently astrally percieving or would like to stop and do so may roll an assensing test to percieve the ward and indentify its purpose.
Anybody that wants to can make a perception roll, please add in any specifics , such as astrally percieving, using a specific sense (hearing, smell, etc), low light, thermo, ultrasound, etc.

Caramel Frap - Ward of some sort, force higher then hers.
McQuillan - There is a magical signature on either side of you, seems to coincide with the walls of the building. Exact dimensions of the room are 30m x 60m (1800sqm.) You're currently standing in a door in the center of one of the 30m sides.
Whizbang - You recognize a ward of some sort. On your Assensing test, you're supposed to roll Int with Aura Reading as a complimentary skill, just so you know.
All - Thermo will inevitably be better here, as the room itself has no light. Anyone without thermo will be functioning in full darkness (of course you always have the option to astrally perceive to negate darkness penalties, but remember the +2 modifier.)

Sorry about the delay, caught a bad case of...polio. Terrible epidemic. Swept through my entire calculus class. Yeah, very bad...polio.

Alright, for the action going on in IC, everybody can make me reaction tests, please. Your target number is 4. How many successes you get will determine who you can act against and defend yourself from in the upcoming combat round. I also need initiatives for everyone or everything that will be acting in this round of combat

Thank you!
