Ok first I want to know was Leo~Leonardus from Earthdawn, Leonardus's son, or someone who knew about Leonardus and is just pretending to be him?

Secondly~ Does the ?Matrix Monocole? work by causing anyone's astral body to go into the Matrix Like a sort of technological version of astral gateway~(which would mean the matrix is somesort of metaplane in that situation) or just some sort of super-high-tech device which allow's Non-Technomances to use the matrix similar to how technomancers use the matirx

AND nothing more will be said about ResonenceFibers

OK now don't throw any thing at me eek.gif

If astral energy can be weaved into a Spell thread then what if you could weave resonence into something like a thread--my suggestion for a resonence equivalent name is -- cyber.gif cyber.gif Resonence Fibers cyber.gif cyber.gif

Now this combined with optical chips would be the begining of COMPUTER INTERACTION WITH THE ASTRAL PLANE______could this be the dirrection that Leo was going in?

lastly now--if a system had Resonence Fibers Woven into it--this would be the evolution of Resonence pools/wells into ResonenceBatteries now if these Resonence Batteries AND AN A.I. were to come into contact----(PLEASE NOW DON'T FREAK OUT THE NEXT HYPOTETICAL IS JUST LOOKING FOR SOME YET FURTHER EVOLUTON)-----could the resonence batteries start BREEDING A.I.'S that would then take over a manufactuing plant and make the INCARNATED/INCATINATED A.I.'s their own Bodies----so where I'm really going is this
THESE Resonence batteries would become[yes I will say it] Lifesystems~which would then give birth to the 6th WORLD version of OBSIDIONMEN which would then be called the CYBERFOLK!

just thought someone had to cover all the bases out in LALA Land now

Bah, I say get the Horrors involved early, add a little blood magic in the mix, and incorporate the magically transmografied flesh of corpses into the robots to make something akin to the "Silicon Life" from Blame!. Malicious corrupted cyborg killing machines who live and reproduce despite being half machine and half undead and who bear a strong anamosity towards carbon-based metahumans . Much more interesting than Johnny 5, that is.

And as for the whole Ie's beating all non-Ie's at everything, does that mean if Ehran the Scribe were to start decking today, he'd kick Fastjack?

After he studied it for about 100 years, yes. Of course, it would probably be pretty easy for him by then, since FastJack would be long dead...
Jaid
as far as we know, Ehran actually already has spent 100 years studying the matrix.

heck, would you spend 400 karma to boost your spellcasting skill from 79 to 80, or just boost your cracking skill group from 0 to 12 and have 5 points left over?

in any event, we really have no way of knowing, because Ehran's official stats (until such time as SR4 writes something for him) are roughly equal to Pun Pun's (which is to say, they are all infinite. except for how much space he takes up apparently... that still hasn't cracked yet)

In which book was all this about Leonardo explained?

Leonardo and most of his background first came to the fore in the novel Black Madonna. It has been speculated that he is the IE referred to as Brightlight in Aztlan SB. He is mentioned in several cameos (including Blood in the Boardroom) until his story is apparently brought to a close in the Technobabel.

I coulda sworn his story was continuing rather nicely on pg.119 of System Failure smile.gif

Someone mentioned that Leonardo's hatred for the Catholic Church was really well done somewhere. Where was it done better than in the Da Vinci Code?
Ancient History
"Well done" is open to question. I believe it goes without question that Black Madonna by Carl Sargent and Marc Gasciogne is at least equivalent to The Da Vinci Code in terms of legitimate coverage of the subject, and is a far better read than Dan Brown's plodding shitheap.
emo samurai
Yeah, I hated that book. There aren't any cliched, repetitive lectures in it, are there?
