The Mage attempts to dive under the cover of the seat but to no avail, the shot catches him in his chest and leaves him heavily wounded, but not out for the count yet. The Gunman somehow manages to avoid the shot at him.

Shen lets loose a bolt of magic-made-electricity at the lucky gunman.

The lightning Bolt hits home, the electricity arcing across the gunman's body, he twitches as if trying to escape some monsters grasp, but does little else. His twitching and attempts to avoid Autumn add up t one thing. A fall out of a speedind car followed by a sickening crunch as his neck breaks during the fall.

Autumn rounds her gun on the mage in the back seat, and fires once.

Autumn's shot finishes the mage off as Pheonix gains control of the car and brings it to a halt a little down the road. "I think that's dealt with, no comms got out, I think but best to keep a look out in case. Thanks for the assistance Autumn, feel free to use the house to clean up. Nice to see motherhood hasn't mellowed you."
Wildchild will appear out the house's door survey's the scene glances at Autumn as she pulls herself out of the car. He mutters under his breath, "Bloody show off," then louder, "Guys, let's get inside, Hannah if you would I think your safe now."
After searching the mage for foci, Shen walks inside with them.

Shen finds a brooch with a blue gem in the centre and words in he thinks latin engraved in the gold surround.
Shen picks up the brooch and tries to assense it.

Shen sighs, pockets it, and goes inside.
Autumn extracts herself from the other car, and says hi to Wildchild as she walks past in to the house.

Wildchild nods in reply and wanders over to pick up the body of the gunman who fell out the car. He carrries it over to the runied car and throws it thru the space where the windscreen once was. He steps clear and the car seems to drive itself off away down the road. As you enter the house Cheerleader will hand over the hot beverage of your normal preference. "Nice work guys."

"Lets catch our breaths and I'll yake Hannah to her room, so she can settle in." Cheerleader leads Hannah away, as she passes through a door she pauses to stare at Autumn with an odd worshipful awe. Then she exits the room and moves out of sight.
WildChild wanders back in, "Phoenix has shifted the evidence for us, and reckons we got away clean from that. Should be safe here for at least a day or towo."

"Cool, I hope so." says Cheerleader, "I think giving Hannah a little time to relax would be a good idea first, she seems fairly on edge after that little bit of excitement outside."

Shen turns to Autumn, Wildside, and Cheerleader.
"This is the first time I killed; should I be troubled the fact I did so so easily?"

"Killing in defence of something is different than killing in cold blood," says Cheerleader, "The only killing I try to avoid is the sort where my spirits do it, I'm not comfortable ordering someone else to do it for me."
"Does it make you feel as if you're trying to avoid moral responsibility? Sometimes, though, it must be a tactical necessity..."
"Not usually with Wildchild around, yeah it is like avoidind the responsibility, plus I always have a choice to kill or not, my spirits have to obey me, I have a problem with that. But being a Pheonix,"
"Groupie," interjects Wildchild with a grin, recieving a finger from Cheerleader.
"Shamen. My totem hates trapping things as do I."

"I do not know how I view binding... I always thought of it as convincing spirits to do something for me. I do not know if that is better or worse than simply trapping them..."

"I don't really find spirits anymore alien than someone from a different country really." Says Cheerleader in between sips of tea.
"Most people in foreign countries wouldn't kill for a whiff of aromatic wood." Shen laughs.
"If you've finished with me, then I'll be on my way. I have a son to entertain.."
"Depends which country," says Cheerleader, "Yeah Autumn, we should be cool now, thanks you've been a star as ever." She stands and gives Autumn a quick hug.
"I doubt I would have survived that without your help. Thank you."

"It's cool. Tell Hannah that she is still welcome to join us on a day trip if she wants. See you guys around"
She turns and walks out the door.

A few moments after Autumn leaves there is the rroar of her car's engine starting up and then the car pulls away. Wildchild drains his cup. "I'll head upstairs and start a look out." he says, moving up the stairs to do exactly that.
Cheerleader glances at Shen, "Well I'm sure Hannah will be ready soon, anything you need to do while we wait?"

The two of you can settle down and relax for about an hour. After that hannah will come down stairs, her hair is wet and she's in a fresh set of jeans and t-shirt. "Okay," she says nervously, "I guess I'm ready."
