Bumped the team to the next day. Please continue to work the plan in OOC and of course, any additional legwork in IC/OOC as appropriate.

Ha, cool, okay, I'm paying attention again guys. sorry for the check out I just did a two week trial and wasn't really doing anything else. I'll catch up on the IC posts and start paying attention again.
Did we lose you?
Redjack
Satyr - There is no com signal at the safe house.

phlapjack77 - Your last post conflicts with both your previous post and my reply to your previous post.

All - Please ignore the current com until Zion gets somewhere with a matrix signal. Please edit your posts as appropriate.
EDIT: Just a small adjustment of time.
phlapjack77
Sorry for being thick here, but I don't see how the post conflicts? My second-to-last post conflicts with yours, I see that and can edit it. But both of our posts end with Lucky hanging out at Java Jane's in the morning. And then my last post has Lucky napping at Jane's when he receives the team messages...I think smile.gif I'll adjust the time for the post too, to coincide with the newly signal-enabled Zion.
Saytr
sorry for the mass confusion. We definatly have to solve that signal problem at safe house. Will adress IC when appropriate smile.gif
Thanee
We definitely should get more than that -1 modifier for that... biggrin.gif grinbig.gif biggrin.gif

We could probably get a com relays installed somewhere within signal range, which should be able to forward the Matrix traffic.

Bye
Thanee
Saytr
either way we need to get matrix access to our safehouse lol.

Redjack

As a replacement to my game reference thread, I am creating the 4-1-1. Easier to find, better laid out, with maps! and eventually more full featured.

As I am using a layered image for the master image, I will also be adding the team's safe houses and doss' so its easier to get a bearing on where they are and how far between. I hope this will also help with confusion about the layout. Eventually I hope to post a gang turf map as well.

Saytr
sounds cool.
Redjack
I'm gonna give Cedric a day or two to post in and I'm not quite clear on how Lucky will reach the meet in time. Man does he need wheels.
phlapjack77
I know frown.gif it's been keeping me from posting, trying to figure out how to get there...
Thanee
Give someone a call who has a car? wink.gif

Bye
Thanee
Saytr
Raven depends on other modes of transportation too lol.

Tacoma Map is now up as well. I will add the various POI for your current run over the weekend.
Saytr
cool great work on the maps they look awesome.
Redjack
They take quite a few hours each. The worst part is finding where the writers and the map makers didn't confer. I actually returned part of Auburn to the Puyallups to resolve some inconsistencies between the books and real life . I need to return some of Tacoma to Ft Lewis as well. Two different neighborhoods referenced to Tacoma in text are part of downtown as per the map, etc, etc.. I realize this is a game and there are a thousand things to nitpick about, but for crying out loud... Also, as I compare Seattle Sourcebook to New Seattle to Seattle 2072, there is very little new material. Very little.
Saytr
but there is a new cover to the book!

In case you missed it, I figured this was just becoming too hard... Seems Java Jane is the favorite of more than just Hugo.

All
Go ahead and post up to the next meet....and beyond.
Redjack
Cynic & Zion - You're up
Redjack
Ok. We're 16 days since the last check in from Cedric. I'm gonna remote Cynic to move us forward.
Saytr
sounds ok with me i want to break into into wall e world and get some new action figures lol.
Thanee
here ya go biggrin.gif

Thanee
Saytr

This far out in the Barrens, comlink communication is restricted to mutual signal range as no matrix signal exists.

phlapjack77
ah...dang!! I'll edit...

That's a "miniature" game from a couple years back called Shadowrun Duels. wink.gif

phlapjack77 - I'm ok with a little improv and generalization, like the KE routes and the place to hit the van. Please make knowledge skill rolls for each element though.

Thanks!
phlapjack77
I had an earlier roll for AK: Tacoma for general information on routes and locations and things: Previous AK roll, 2 hits

A second roll for more specific AK, related to where to hit the Wall-E van: 2 hits

A KE routes roll: Security Procedures (or Law Enforcement) 3 + Logic 3: 3 hits

I don't know if it's needed, but Lucky has a rating 3 mapsoft of the Tacoma area, would that add it's rating as a dice pool bonus to the AK rolls?

*edit* I'd like to make a Knowledge roll for the Bishop's Soup Kitchen: Hangouts(SoupKitchens) 1(+ 2) + Int 4: 1 hit - enough to give me what's in the Seattle 2072 description?
Redjack
One hit will give you the basics from S2072.
Thanee
BTW, do we know how large the facility is?

Bye
Thanee
Redjack
Yes. I will try to provide some maps this weekend.
Thanee
That would be great! smile.gif

Bye
Thanee
phlapjack77
cool - thanks!
Redjack
Ok.... The maps are still in progress... My weekend was tapped out, but for the good. wink.gif
Redjack
The external map is now up. The internal map is in progress.
Redjack
Note on Comlink modes: I have been researching the various modes (and a few other details) and have created a webpage to insure we are all on the same page as to the pros/cons. For example, you cannot send/receive calls from people who are not in mutual signal range when in hidden mode. You cannot interact with public AR if you are not in Active mode. It should also be noted that spam filters will stop most spam in active mode.
Redjack
Leaving for Gen Con tomorrow. May be a week before you hear from me.

I'll try and get the floor plans up when I get back. Sorry, been RL has been kicking in.
Thanee
Enjoy the Con! smile.gif

Saytr
FYI will b withouth internet for a little bit just moved into new apartment.

NVM issue resolved.
Redjack
Ok. I'm back as well. Gen Con was a blast... It seems I was the last to post. It also seems I still owe an internal map.. Ok. I commit to having that ready by the weekend. Sorry for the delay in that.
Redjack
Ok. What next?
Thanee
Hmm... I think we are pretty much ready to go, or not? Don't think there will be much more in terms of preparations needed.

From the point on, when we enter the facility, we will probably have to react and improvise a bit, anyways. wink.gif

Bye
Thanee
Saytr
i agree.
Redjack
Ground Floor

Black around red = external security doors.
Grey = Sidewalks and loading dock.
Back = walls or buildings without interior plans.
Green = grassy area.
1 Square = 1m
Redjack
Out of town right now. Will post us in the next day or two.
phlapjack77
I'm gonna be out until Tuesday...
