Yea. I understand... and I'm not trying to be a hard ass. Those details do make for some flavor for the GM. Since I try not to kill the players, ( queue evil gm laugh ) I enjoy exploiting those little details a bit for theatrical effect.

One thing I just noticed, shouldn't I get a Reaction roll to Dodge those attacks against the truck, while rigging it?

Reaction plus Control Rig bonus is 7 dice (if Control Rig applies there) plus the -1 threshold modifier from VR, and they probably get some penalties for movement and making the called shots.

Shouldn't be completely non-trivial to hit them, at least. smile.gif


This turn, I will do a full defense (aka evasive driving), adding Aeryns Vehicle skill to the defense dice pool.

Let me talk through through this. You have to make the test, else you get a penalty. Making the test allows you a standard reaction test against any attack, else there is no reaction test versus attacks and next round all passengers suffer -2dp.
If you also sacrifice your second action to "dodge" you get to roll reaction + driving (in lieu of dodge). Sound fair?

I'm thinking a stunball force 5 centered on the gangers to one side of the vehicle. Is there one that is at least 2.5 meters away from the truck?

In addition to clarification above, I will clarify the scene: The single ganger on the left hit his brakes and dropped out of sight. The remaining motorcycles on the left hit his brakes and is dropping back past the end of the trailer. The gangers on the right dropped back to the rear of the truck where the fifth wheel is (the trailer connects to the truck via the fifth wheel). Several have already jumped onto the truck/are jumping onto the truck (their success has not been completely evaluated). If he leans way forward into the cab, kinda on/over/around Lynx, he can use the rear view mirror out Zion's window to target some of the gangers. Those gangers are 2-3m from Zion.

NOTE: Since area effect channels magic into all users in the area, I will allow you to center the spell beyond the gangers so as not to include your team. There is a wrinkle with how many you can see unless you stick your head out the window though.

Yep, I've seen that. But as I said, I want to stop the truck, anyways. Dunno, what else I could do in the moment, except getting out and taking a look to see what they are doing back there. wink.gif

So, Aeryn will use her action then to come to a halt, in order to prevent further damage done by trying to stop the truck. We cannot outdrive them, anyways, we have to outfight them. biggrin.gif
