[SCENE:CLARIFICATION:"Vera and Dartha"]
Before I post, I wanted to make a judge intentions roll. Is Darth simply going to torture him? If so, I want to break Dartha's concentration and force her to sit down. Vera would be willing ask him for the information instead of simply going through pain first.
So the question is what would Dartha do?
Oh, and invisible castle is down

Oh, and invisible castle is down

She's being very impassive right now, and obediently backed down like she was told to.
Wand a VERY good visual reference?
Aboard the Death Star in Star Wars, Episode IV "A New Hope", Grand Moff Tarkin interrupts Darth Vader as he's using Force Choke on an admiral saying "Vader, enough! Release him!" and Vader responds "As you wish" with a small bow and backs off releasing the spell.
ASSUMING you beat her on the roll (She's got a few extra dice), you are minded of a cat playing with it's helpless and injured prey. She probably wouldn't move to finish him unless he suddenly turned into a threat. Besides, she seemed to be enjoying his pain and terror of her.
Dartha will follow her employer's instructions (with newfound respect) and even won't hold it against Vera because she acknowledged Dartha's implied thread while offering "good cop". I just hope for her sake she doesn't decide to publicly criticise Dartha about it.

Hi guys. Sorry for this section of the story being railroady. The intent is to deal with the bushplane pilot and then head to Lagos.
Weapons are aloud in this airport, it being Nigeria. But nothing to obvious such as a shotgun, sniper rifles (Sorry Karoline), assault cannons, etc. Pistols, and some of the lower availability machne pistols and Ak-97s are kosher.
-Karoline. Take into account that you have the rifles stowed away in your suitcase.

I actually am trying to determine the reason the pilot wants us to drop cargo. Hodder can empower the plane to fly faster with the spirit power Movement, so it could lift off with a heavier load... as long as the rust bucket holds together! Hodder could even make the plane physically stronger by having it possessed by a spirit, adding its Force to the Body and Armor and Speed of the plane directly.
So, he's just exploring options to do what he does well to help the party. And I'm having fun role playing it. Sorry if that's holding things up.

And Dartha doesn't give a damn, since it's so much less personal gear to be stolen by the thieves endemic to Lagos.

Just an FYI, Peter-
Kinesics and Cool Resolve, as magical powers, penalize Astral Perception too.
In this case, she let it slip out and I said as much; she's not used to thinking Astral because she can't Astrally Perceive herself. She only considered her facial expression. But it may be an issue when she's trying to be more controlled next time.

[RULES CLARIFICATION: discussion of astral perception being affected by Kinesics and Cool Resolve][ Spoiler ]
Kinesics certainly is described as affecting astral perception, though I can't for the life of me see how controlling body movements affects one's aura. Cool resolve on the other hand is described as affecting only Social Active Skills. Astral Perception isn't one of those.
The comment to Dartha was meant to get some levity (Hah!) into the repartée about the airplane. I don't mean to override Dartha's dark and inscrutable nature. When it matters, I will be much more careful about probing minds and moods.

*laughs at Peter's REALLY funny joke*
[ Spoiler ]
It's more than just physical control. It even helps fool spells. There's a reason it's a full half point per and why it's capped at 3 levels, period. And Cool Resolve is defensive only.
It was just an FYI, not trying to bust your chops.

[Physics Clarification: Fun with Fuel]
Jet fuel is actually very difficult to light, especially if it is say in a puddle on the ground, and no fuel of any kind will light from a ciggy, it just doesn't burn hot enough, even as you suck on it. Now, the lighter that you use to -light- the ciggy might do it if you happen to try lighting about three inches off the ground and you have gasoline (Not jet fuel, won't light)

There seems to have been some mistake. Hawkeye wasn't wearing the rifle, it is in her suitcase with most of her other stuff.
Edit: If she had been wearing it she would have used that rifle to look outside the plane, or just been wearing her own rifle the whole time.
Edit2: Do you want to just go back and modify the part dealing with the rifle? Hawkeye wouldn't leave it poking out of her bag, she is too much of a neat freak to let that happen, and there isn't a ton in the bag, she just isn't very strong (And her own rifle alone accounts for almost all her carrying weight)

How is she fitting parts for two seperate rifles in her case? That's two sniper rifles plus armor, plus anythinig else she has on her. Her maximum weight that she can carry is 40 Kilograms. Which is less then the two sniper rifles alone.
EDIT:
Don't mean to come off harsh there. But that's why it seemed or would seem she would be carrying the other rifle she picked off Bunker over her shoulder or have someone else carry it at least. (Which is the rifle they are asking for)
Karoline
Nov 1 2009, 09:08 PM
Well, first off she has two carrying devices. Her own rifle along with a very small number of other things are in her backpack. She also has a suitcase kinda like
this only about 4 feet long which has clothing, food, water tablets, various other items, as well as her shotgun and new rifle. The clothing should provide enough padding that the weapons shouldn't be visible at all, especially with Hawkeye's perfectionist attitude when it comes to how she keeps her gear.
The case/bag/suitcase has wheels so it isn't that hard to move around on a tarmac (though still somewhat draining), which is why I mainly posted her having trouble around stairs (Getting on the plane in particular).
So unless they have MAD or x-ray or something (Which would be understandable, but would leave everyone highly screwed) they'd be unlikely to notice any of the weapons that Hawkeye has with her.
I suppose there was some confusion with the fact that Hawkeye has two bags (One of which I have -always- referred to as pack or backpack, and the other of which has been referred to as suitcase, bag, or very occasionally case)
