Rigger 3 did have a lot about this, since most anti-ship missiles are rigged, and safe disconnect prior to detonation.

Yeah, it did. R3R, 55. "Most importantly, riggers can use NWCNs to directly guide anti-ship missiles and torpedoes to their targets." ... "Prior to the missile striking the target, the NWCN safely "dismounts" the rigger from the missile, and she does not suffer dump shock."
NWCN is naval weapons control network.

The naval weapons stuff didn't actually work that well. Good idea, questionable execution.
