. It's all because chemistry is a REALLY hard thing to fake.

That's also why you see a lot of pairing on TV and movies turn into actual romantic pairs (at least for a while) because they spend THAT much time together acting it out that it bleeds over into their actual personal lives and such.

Then perhaps a modifier based on charisma level. After all there's some people that just cant tell these things, so to account for it, a charisma score past 3 starts providing dice to the opposed pool in social situations when using the empathy software; more charismatic people can tell your lines and movements seem 'canned'.

That's a good idea. The important thing, though, is to have the end result of all this brainstorming be fast and simple. Complicated rules are often bad rules. smile.gif

Ok then. Charisma grants Attribute score\2 to opposed dice check against empathy software, flat out whether its known to be in use or not. I suppose even a troll could tell if your lines sound like they're from the latest version of MageWarrior IV: This time, shit gets real!
Yerameyahu
Well, what's this 'opposed check against empathy software'? The Judge Intentions roll? It's really the +Rating to all tests that's the problem, and those are just normal tests.
Triggvi
For the empathy software. I would allow you to use it for the judge intentions. If you get more hits on opposed test ,use them to to add to your social tests. Just adding the rating is way too cheesy
