What kind of rolls do I need to put together to
a) verify that the footage has not been tampered with.
b) analyze the data on the software, to see if any anomolies pop out.
c) do some digging on the victim?

Analyze to check the video for any discrepancies. Not sure what you're asking in b), and if you're using network resources, Data Search to find data on the victim. For personal resources, tell me who you're contacting and what you're asking, and I'll make the necessary rolls to tell you what they know.

b) I probably don't have the software for most of it yet. But, how tall were the 3 women, how long did they go in. Are there any reflective surfaces that show more.. etc.

Just looking at SR4A, I don't see any software that would even do that. But I'd allow a long-term analyze to do some of that for you.

I'm going to give the rest of the crew a few to chime in before we move forward.

well, there is gait analysis software, and facial recognition.. tacsoft

Figuring out how tall they are should be easy.

If it is not enough to measure the surrounding area (walls, floor, camera angle) and then calculate the height, we could simply place someone there and make another shot in the same way and compare them. That should give us a fairly good estimate.

JP, I didn't get enough hits to get a security account before they blew my stealth?
I got 9 hits in 3 rounds. That's enough to get a security account on a r6 firewall.

But if its a firewall R6 with analyze R6 = 12 dice, which means it can basically buy 3 hits to threshold your stealth program of 3. The dude is an exec, I'm sure his commlink is tricked out. I'm about to have the same luck, but at least you didnt blow an hour plus to try and hack the sucker.

Stealth of 3 is sadly a joke, getting 3 hits is pretty trivial.

Probably not. If the second roll got your Stealth, you probably wouldn't have made all hits in just one roll, anyways.

Should have used probing to have a reasonable chance of not getting detected, but that is a time issue, as it takes several hours.

You've actually not described the footage to us. So I'm not sure how they kidnapped the guy.
Was he bound and gagged, was he unconcious? did he walk on his own..etc.

The footage looks to be entirely legit - no breaks in the footage, no edits, etc.

In the footage, three women in tribal masks and body armor approach the room, open the door (by means you can't see on camera) and enter the room. A few minutes later, one emerges, then a second carrying a person over her shoulder. He does not appear to be conscious or otherwise resisting. A few minutes later, a third woman emerges and that's where the footage ends.

No distinct patterns are found, nothing that has any sort of leads from it, by the software.

The cigarettes look to be hand rolled, no brand name of any kind on them.

No brand on the paper? or any idea what kind of tobacco he's using? There's no RFID tags in it that will try and sell me the same brand? Either the Tobacco or the paper?
