As far as I can find that should be Nicholas Aurelius but it wont accept it in any form.

contributed to the artillery barrage form offshore. Several times Sirrurg took to the sky and obliterated any Aztlans who crossed him, but he was unable to leave the engagement zone. Airborne controllers had several waves of craft stacked at different altitudes and at various positions around the engagement. As soon as Sirrurg attempted a breakthrough, the controllers simply vectored in other craft to cut him off; all the while Sirrurg was under constant barrage and bombardment. On his fifth failed attempt to take wing, Aztlan pilots and spotters confirmed that Sirrurg was wounded, even bleeding profusely, and his wings were completely torn to shreds. One pilot even reported that the great dragon’s right eye was gone.
Sirrurg was hurt, but Task Forces Two and Three were mauled. Over half of their drones and nearly as many aircraft were either destroyed or forced to disengage after sustaining significant damage. At least thirty pilots were forced to punch out over the Pacific and two command and control aircraft were also downed thanks to enemy spirits. Still, both sides pressed on, neither one offering any quarter. Sirrurg leapt several times into the air to attack passing craft, but already he was starting to slow down.
Approximately ninety-eight minutes after the land engagement began, reinforcements from Task Force One and Sirrurg’s followers arrived. Coming in from the north, both groups made contact twenty kilometers from the engagement zone and ferociously tore at each other as they arrived. One group from Sirrurg’s reinforcements also broke off and destroyed the temporary firebases while another forced the Aztlan naval elements to withdraw. The tide of the battle appeared

And since you requested comments over at the mothership...you probably can guess which story I'm dissatisfied with
First of all, another iteration of "the UN forces X". Shadowrun borrows from a lot of dystopias, but so far core tenet of militia nutjobs, that "the UN" is some independent entity which can simply send forces somewhere, has not been one of them. Just as IRL, the UN is the sum of its constituents, and accordingly will do frag all to expose underhand dealings of corporations.
Secondly, the idea used to be that Asamando practices happy eugenics by sterilizing feral ghouls and sending them to the mines, while promoting the procreation of the ghoulish master race. So why hide ferals in black site prisons? If there ever were too many ferals to put them to use as expendable labor, I'm sure a ghoul nation there might just find another use for those extra bodies...

Shadowrun has been borrowing more and more ideas and vocabulary from the American Right's mainstream (which used to be thew Right fringe a decade ago) for some time now. Ever since the freelancer purge, I think, though it might have started before.

I need to go see what's been revealed, since I can, apparently, discuss the leaked material. I think some of this deserves a response, but I don't want to whip it out and step on it more than I perhaps already have. But some of this deserves a reasoned response, so I'll get back to you. If I don't shortly, ping me here so I can correct that.

The thing that bothers me in these stories (and the other SR5-related fluff) is the concept of G.O.D/corps deploying a whole new Matrix. Updating the Matrix, I can understand, but switching the whole Matrix to a completely new software paradigm (as seems to be the case) is something else.
It means that you can forget all your current software projects, that you'll have to update all your Matrix systems including the most critical ones (the one that are probably still running on 2040 software "because it's too dangerous to touch it"). It's a move you can do in a desperate situation (first Matrix crash, not so much with the second one) but if you can avoid it, you will.
