You aren't sending dump shock - it's just an effect of suddenly having chaotic input directly into your brain.

Refering to this part here (from the SR5 core book):

"When you’re disconnected from the Matrix while in VR without gracefully switching to AR first, you suffer a nasty shock as your sim module kicks out."

But really, it's just rambling. Was mostly wondering how dumpshock happens, and what would happen, if your DNI suddenly disappeared (like, when you become a turtle).
