Sure no prob, boss lady. But that's just the way spoilers come out, isn't it? I'd edit my post for you but Dumpshock eats half my post when I try to do that. Weird ne? Hmmm thinking.
Edit: Notepad is a wonderful thing! Edited IC to remove eye aching spoilers. But the links to Invisable Castle are gone. *sigh* I suppose if you search the roll data base for Charlie you can find them.
Further Edit: That weird silver color is what links look like in a spoiler. Who knew? Not I , so no more links in spoilers. Bad Meriss, hurting GM's eyes, no soup for you! *takes away soup*
Later Edit: EH? My posts are gettting eaten because I'm using spoilers. Weird. But, no spoilers = no eating. So I'm going to try and limit my use of them from now on, or try not to edit posts with multiple spoilers. Mucho weirdness

The hungry spoilers has been around for a while, and a huge pain in the @ss. It drives me nuts, believe me. I gave up on doing multiplie spoilers, and mostly try to save any spoiler text until the end of the post. If you have to edit, Ctrl+C the entire page before you hit the Edit key. You'll have to redo the tags, but at least you'll have all the text.

@All: On a tangent from me complaining all the time I found/stole a perfect Idea to hide our trailers.
Horse Trailer: Drive to local race track with forged papers saying we're supposed to pick up a horse. Wipe down trailer, leave trailer.
Semi Trailer: Find nearby trailer park. Wipe down trailer, disguise truck trailer as house trailer, leave trailer.
I got the first one from the Purloined Letter, hiding in plain sight.
I got the second one from Numb3rs, I love that show, teaches me math and FBI tactics all in one entertaining form.
Redjack
May 13 2007, 04:28 AM
I like the idea for swiping the horse trailer from a local track. Where ever Lucky is, there has to be a track somewhere nearby.
Having lived in a house trailer in my youth and my father owning a tractor-trailer (18 wheeler) I think the disguise truck trailer as house trailer might be a bit of a stretch. Did they actually do that on a tv show? We should be able to hide the semi either at a truck stop or in a shipping company lot though.

@ Redjack: As far as your binding tests go, if you list the force of the elemental you're trying to summon and your rolls, I can roll the resistance tests... who knows, it may end better.
What force was the Air Elemental? I'll roll it's resistance and we'll see if you still fail the binding.
fistandantilus4.0
May 13 2007, 05:00 AM
Yeah I don't really get equating a trailer to the same thing as a modular home.
Ever seen a truck stop? Those things can be there for days at atime, or hours. No one looks twice. Toss on photovoltaic paint that's really comoon in 2070 and you've got your self a shell game. If someone can add on a transponder library and spoof us a few vehicle registration chips that gives us more options with the tractor-trailer.
Couldn't we just buy a cheap horse trailer? Only cost us a cheap SIN and a few thou instead of trying to pull a con and up our chances at getting caught at something else.

Rolling for Air Elemental F:3 to resist binding, Result: 6,5,5,2,2,1 Total: Three Successes
*edit* Okay, so tied. In our games ties go to attacker, summoner, binder, etc.
So in this particular instance, if you'd prefer, you have the Air Elemental F:3 bound with 3 services. I'll leave it up to you if you want to keep your rolls or take mine.

May 13 2007, 01:03 PM
Not sure I understand. I had only three successes in the binding test. You opposed with three. I have to have one net success for a successful binding...?

Yup they did. It kept the fibies from seeing it for about two hours. (Implied time) Then they found it. Then again the crew didn't walk a way from the trailer, they stayed in the area. But from the air the thing was darn near invisable. (The feebs also had a math genius helping with the search) Watch Numb3rs on the CBS website. You'll see what I mean.
@Fist: I like the idea of swiping a horse trailer or renting it. Charlie can prolly code up any registration we may need. (If Invisable Castle cooperates) But didn't Lincoln provide us with one already? Not that I trust Lincoln.
@Redjack: Does Crow have an astral muddying spell? I'd like to disrupt any ritual magic they might have on that horse.
@Everyone else: Any ideas for hiding the trailers when we finish, I realize I'm getting ahead of my self but a better plan now = less likly to get gaught later on.

@Plan B when you see this: Dang you! I figured the best way for you to get us would be the single access road. Looks like I was right. Going to have to figure out a way to keep the cops out or something. Thanks for the CSP thou!
@everyone else: Any Ideas for the One Way Road of Doom
tm Although if we can do the snatch at the photo shoot or vet appointment we wouldn't have to.

Did Lincoln not say that there was no magical security on the ranch, well folks Lincoln
lied. Oh well I suppose you can expect that out of a J. Redjack we're going to need counter measures. You too Tashio. Maybe one of you can do offense and one defense?
fistandantilus4.0
May 13 2007, 07:13 PM
Well for the access road, a spirit using concealment would probably work. Nothing too drastic there.
As for swiping a the Vet's, the down side to that is a likely faster response time from when we swipe it to when they notice it. But it cold also save a bunch of messing around with security. Other thoughts anyone?
There's also the possibility of getting proof of the mistress and bringing that to the wife Bunny for some leverage. "Wouldn't you just love to get even with him"
