Slip -
[ Spoiler ]
You are correct, you need to wait right now, because it's extremely likely Knight will do something and we need Mister Juan to decide that, and if he doesn't, it's just as likely Lady Dove will do something as well. So yeah, can't get too far ahead of ourselves here.
Also, you're in SR 4 now, so there's nothing you can use to boost spell defense. You just have your counterspelling skill available to defend, plus relevant attribute, of course.
Mister Juan -
[ Spoiler ]
FYI, Knight definitely notices when Max begins to astrally project.

WR - Thanks I couldn't remember if that was a factor in SR4
[ Spoiler ]
Chalk it up to another learning experience for Max. It if doesn't kill him that is.
Nice thing about playing a newbie. I don't have to think everything out like I usually have to when playing a seasoned runner.

Should I start reading all this super-secret stuff or are there passwords and handshakes to learn first? Grendel's doing just fine with the hazing, naturally.

Actually. . . who are we waiting on for a post? Should Blaze post again? He can, but it would seem odd not for some type of response to be evoked.
Scrapheap
Jun 8 2006, 06:32 PM
I would think that BClements/Cao Jaan would respond. He's dismissed John's offer to help, and neither Knight or Lady Dove responded to John's last question (about the girl/Nora).
Of course, either Knight or Lady Dove may take offense to Max's projection too.
Just my long-winded way of saying, "You ain't waiting on me!"
Slipshade
Jun 8 2006, 06:33 PM
Max is waiting on Knight or Lady Dove. After they put the hurt on Max for going astral I can respond.
I think Blaze is waiting for a reaction from either Lady Dove or Mr. Cao, but that is only a guess.
I would guess Scrap is waiting for the Drek to hit the fan to post.

Or at least tell us who should respond first.
The way I see it several people could interject here and be justifed.
Cao or
Lady Dove could respond to
Blaze.
Knight or
Lady Dove could respond to
Max's projection (peacefully I hope). Or
ETG could open up his trambone case and light up the punky doorman . . . .

You don't give someone a prop like that, in a trombone case of all things, without them wanting to use it at the first possible moment.
banditf50
Jun 8 2006, 08:40 PM
The trombone case is just the icing on a very hilarious cake. Whenever I imagine ETG I just combine every troll street sam sterotype together and make it even more exagerated. Kinda makes me hope that ETG gets to serve as a bit of comic relief.
On a side note, I hope that I don't end up embarrising the creator of Blaze. He really is a deep and well done character, but it is hard to roleplay (at least for me) such a character that you did not dream up.

I'm touched by your trust in me.
Wow, I'm gone for one day and LITS goes crazy! How come everyone doesn't post like this when I'm around to post? Sheesh, go figure.
For everyone's information, I will not post (as Lady Dove or otherwise) until either Mister Juan posts as Knight (because he should be doing SOMETHING right now as the hired security, either about Blaze or more likely, Max) or BC posts as Cao Jaan and speaks to Melissa. Depending on who posts first (BC or Mister Juan), Melissa will respond differently, which will affect how I respond to Max's post.

Yes, because in SR4 there's no upper limit on the kind of weaponry that can be affected by the cyberarm gyromount.
WinterRat1
Jun 9 2006, 12:39 AM
Well then, it looks like it's going to be on then.
(Not that anything violent is going to happen or anything. The trombone case a prop purely for humor, not for any sort of violent activity. And for those about to call me on this statement because of my previous post, um, that reason was humor. Yes, humor. And nothing but humor. Really.)

BC - Did you catch my earlier post? I'm waiting on you and/or Mister Juan before I post anything. Karma awards for my playersCatching up on some belated karma for my players. I know that I could have waited till this Sunday, but my mind is so slippery that I had to do it while I was counting.
Erebus: 16pt (Feb 13th - Jun 4th)
Tenmou: 6pt (May 16th - Jun 4th)

Exactly! That's what I've been trying to tell you guys. This is just a big misunderstanding with a peaceful resolution just around the corner, and everyone can go home happy and alive. Yup. That's the plan.
Anyway, Mister Juan told me he'd have a post up sometime today (Friday) or maybe tomorrow (Saturday). Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, and if he hasn't posted by Sunday afternoon/evening, I'll post something to keep us moving.

Someone currently in the scene right now, (i.e. BC, Mister Juan, Scrapheap, Slipshade, Bandit, Ronin; I don't care who) call odd or even.
