Is that an okay for the heavy jumpsuit, WinterRat?
WinterRat1
Whoops, didn't realize you were asking. Yes, it's fine.
Sedna
It's a significant acquisition. Yes, I ask smile.gif

Nothing really. He's hoping to follow this lead straight to Melissa (kind of an optimist in this circumstance) the only thing would be if Max or Squall called him back about the information he asked for earlier. So if Winterrat gives the ok, you've got my ok to move forward.

Fyi:

Because we're looking at the SR4 possibilities, I'd just finished doing a detailed karma-time audit on Alleycat re training. Gah! and I say again, gah! I'd have been in serious trouble had I not spent every available moment trying to hone her skills. Especially for you guys with the higher level skills, training time might end up more of a limiter than karma.

Also, don't forget that skill improvement isn't automatic, there is a TN to make (and I've failed it at least a couple of times, increasing training time further ...)

Details, if they're needed, in the last post of this thread.

Scrap/Slip- Are you guys leaving via the stairs or the elevator?

Would a security procedure roll let me know what a typical approach would be for the police? IE-would one be better than the other? If so:

[ Spoiler ]

Either way, I'm thinking stairs. Slip?
WinterRat1
You've been there long enough that the cops should have arrived by now. In fact, odds are good they might already be there. That's all I can tell you from 1 success.
Slipshade
WinterRat1-I will let you know what I am doing when I get an answer from Mr. Wong. I will most definetly summon a spirit for concealment, but I have a couple of ideas, depending on what Mr. Wong says.

Rumors of my demise have been... well pretty spot-on, actually. (looking for a "Sheepish" smiley)

Um, yeah. Assuming there's still a place for me (not making any assumptions here) I hope to be making an attempt to catch up sometime this weekend, Sunday or Monday.
grendel
No worries, I've kept your account open. Post whenever ready.
grendel
Bastard: the medkit has supplies that would help Marquis 2 light wounds, but it'll require a first aid roll. The kit's expert system is rated 3, you could trust it, or try to roll yourself. Keep in mind that at a serious stun (9 boxes) plus 2 light wounds means you're looking at a +4 modifier to everything you do.

WR1-
As Max begins his summoning, John will crack open the Wong's front door to check the halway.

Scrap - I say we go for the stair and try for the car. If it is blocked then we head up the stairs to the roof and we can levitate off. Go ahead and right our escape. I will chime in if needed.

Slip
WinterRat1
Slip/Scrap- You two are still up for now. Scrap, you see nothing unusual or suspicious in the hallway. In fact, it's currently empty and you do not see any visible security cameras.

Noted.

WR1-
I didn't want to jump the gun and write us all of the way to the parking level. Though I can do so later today if needed.

[ Spoiler ]
WinterRat1
You can make it to the parking level just fine. When you get to the parking level however, you and Slip each give me stealth checks, please.
Slipshade
WinterRat1 - I am assuming that the Hearth Spirit will conceal us even in the parking garage as it is part of the building, if not I will summon a city spirit when we get to the bottom of the elevator.

My stealth roll is below. If you want me to make the IC post, I will do so later tonight.

Both paul and I are waiting on you, WinterRat; for when you can.
WinterRat1
Good thing you told me, I was waiting on Paul to see if Blaze was ok with following Klaus. I'll get the post up in a few.

EDIT: It's up. Paul/Sedna, whichever of you speaks first, feel free to NPC Klaus. All he's really going to do is introduce himself and let Blaze and Tazie do the talking for the time being.

Note: There's reasons why he's handling it this way (it's not me being lazy) so for conversation flow, I thought I'd let you know I'll chime in with Klaus when he has something he wants to say. Otherwise the two of you should handle it as you see fit, without counting him into the picture for now, until he interjects himself.
Bastard
I guess I will have to trust it...hopefully it dont give me trichomonas or the hiv.
grendel
The medkit's rating is 3, go ahead and roll for it.
Bastard
Medkit 3

That's enough to take care of Marquis' light wounds, but it still leaves him with 9 boxes of stun. That goes away only with rest, so once he's moved to a place where he can get some sleep, roll me body or willpower (whichever is higher) against a TN of 5.
paul_HArkonen
ok, and this is the slightly more technical stuff:

WinterRat1
argh, sorry for the late notice, I'm out of town this weekend. I'll update sun/mon. Apologies for the late notice, I didn't get a chance to post it before I left! My bad... frown.gif
WinterRat1
Paul- He's an adept, and he feels neutral about being there. He's open to listening, but there's a reasonable level of cautiousness to him as well.
paul_HArkonen
alright, nothing out of the ordinary then.

I assume that there is some sort of gate or security check-point to get out of the garage?

yup, got it. If you want something for trying to convince him Blaze is on the level let me know.
WinterRat1
Go ahead and give me an etiquette (street, if you have it) roll, but continue to discuss. The roll is for a future point in time, but since you asked may as well save time and get it from you now.
Scrapheap
WR1-
Max and John are prepared to wait 45 minutes to see if Lone Star clears out. If not, Slip and I will come up with the ever-popular "plan B."

-S
WinterRat1
Scrap/Slip- Good call. Lone Star will clear out in about 40 minutes, so feel free to move yourselves forward to that time and go from there with what you plan on doing next.
paul_HArkonen
ok, one roll coming up.

Ok. I've given this a lot of thought. This is being posted in each of the games I'm involved in, so sorry if you're seeing it more than once...

I've going to be pulling back from the forum games for a while. I'll still be involved, but mostly only in games that have been running for a long time. However, this does mean that I'll be dropping out of a lot of games that are either in startup or haven't been running long. Things in my life have just been too chaotic and frankly I'm just going through too much right now to keep up with the pace of the boards.

I'll be dropping the following games...

Tequila Blues (GM) - Sorry guys, hopefully Shadow or Grendel can take up the role of GM and keep things going. I'll be happy to feed them the ideas I had.
Daddy's Girl (GM) - I really hate doing this, cause its been going for a while, but being a GM is just beyond me right now.
Living in the Shadows - Grendel can decide what happens with Todd.
Into the Abyss - I haven't even started this one, so you'll be ok without me.
Balance Due - Even though I haven't posted yet, I know that Bishop was a main character. Perhaps he was killed by the Templars and that just gives his friends more reason to go after them.

Games I'll be staying in...
Extassis, Hunting Shadows Within, and Savior.
bclements
Sorry to see you go. Take care man, hope you get everything straightned out.
Ecclesiastes
Thanks. Thats the plan.
