If no, I can just continue with what I'm doing (which will take her to the vicinity of the house we checked out earlier in about an hour); if yes, just write Alleycat in as you see fit.

Sedna- I will let you post your description of Alleycat searching, just because I want to be sure I don't miss anything you wanted to do, and I wasn't sure if you were acting on the Melissa thought right away, or doing other stuff first before it, and I didn't want to jump you ahead because you don't have much time in RLto reverse-engineer if we run into a timeline problem right now.

Today will be fairly tight in any case (this was a quick check-in, I don't know if I can get to e-mail yet); but tomorrow should be better.
Edit: sorry, that changed, this end, and now tomorrow's not free after all. I might be able to get in something short tomorrow; otherwise I don't know if I'll be on-line again before next Friday. After that, give it two or three days, and then things should hopefully be back to something resembling "normal".

Hey Everyone,
Just letting you all know I'll be attending a conference starting Sunday, and I will not be back until next Sunday. I do not know what my internet access will be like, hopefully at a major college campus I can find somewhere to post (!) but if not, well, that's the breaks...
So my posting may range from no significant changes to absolutely nothing, to anywhere in between. I simply won't know until I get there. That said, if I'm gone for the next week and you don't hear from me on the threads/PMs, that's why. Hopefully I can still post and keep everything flowing merrily along, but if not, I'll see you all in a week!

Temporary absence announcementSince winterrat just posted a conference absence, it seems like a great time for me to post mine as well. From June 26th until July 6th I will be out of town. The first week of that time I will be spending at a conference in New Hampshire. The last three days I will be traveling to Boston mostly to socilaize with some of my collaborators

Since I don't own a laptop computer at the moment posting may be difficult, but I hope that I can arrange with you guys (winterrat, ronin, and sedna) to fill in for me in our timeline as needed.

All my people, I believe that covers me with all of you.
Sedna- You know I'm letting you post yourself, as I stated earlier.
Paul, Slip, Scrap- I believe that covers all of the necessary responses to your characters and you're free to post.
Slip & Scrap- I believe you two have/are/should work out between yourselves when you'll be posting in conjunction with one another.
Paul & Sedna- A similar thing, just coordinate with one another when you want to meet up together to move forward, otherwise, anything up till what you both agree/agreed on you're free to post.
Everyone- I'll just keep popping in throughout the week to watch and post in reply to all of you as best I can.

"Ok, let's take stock of the situation here. You know anything about this place, like what's going on in there? I remember you mentioning at the graveyard something about coordinates. Are you sure they point into the building, or at something around the outside?" Tony says in the quiet of the car, still looking around at the office park. |
Grendel, can help you me answer this? Its been a few weeks since I found the info so I want to make sure before I reply IC that I have my facts right. The data lead me into the building, right? Not to some strange location neaby?
grendel
Jun 14 2005, 06:20 PM
Again, assuming the same kind of accuracy that was present in the last set of coordinates, the location specified is in the building in front of Todd and Tony. According to Todd's GPS, the location should be about forty meters from their present location, almost directly ahead of where they are parked.

Jun 14 2005, 08:21 PM
The vehicles look to be in good working order, most of them are covered with a light dusting of snow. Most likely they belong to the day shift of workers and have been there since eight or nine that morning. The building features security cameras covering the front entrance, as well as one of the fire exits near the corner of the front. It's possible that the cameras could see the parking lot as well, but unlikely.

Sentinel, just take it one statement at a time in this conversation. In other words, don't try to condense it by doing a Statement One, "waiting to see the reaction to this", Statement Two, "watching the reaction to this", Statement Three, etc.
You're going to need one hour per Force strength of ward you intend to establish.

No i saw your posts, and have been trying to keep up (I missed the one page with Bandit's to me on though) and even thought i was posting, but for some reason Opera wasnt completing the posting send, its only when i went and looked back at stuff the other night i noticed a couple of my posts were not infact on the boards. Also Opera didnt seem to register my track topic selection either.

I've been using Mozilla

That's a
sporadic server issue, not a browser-specific issue. It's because we're back on the old server until Neuron Basher figures out why the new one keeps crashing without warning.

Freedom Fighter:
Open-SF native; part of the MPA but also helping out the Black Brothers. Tends to know a lot about the dark underbelly of the Berkeley shadows.
Gullah Joe:

Today and tomorrow are the catch-up days.
paul, I've only got a couple more "overnight" posts planned for
Alleycat, neither of which should involve
Blaze before the mid/late morning (if you were planning on calling her) or later (meet re new prospects for run). So go ahead with whatever you were planning, it will work my end.
WinterRat, ronin, bandit: did you have very much more of substance you wanted to go through in that discussion? Relative storyline "speeds" are starting to be a significant issue.
I'll get the karma awards up later, e-mail caught up after that, PMs cleared out after
that, and shortly thereafter I'll try to consolidate the descriptions as given of the various SL NPC players. Then I'll get back to the webbing
