Does that mean you can import weapons grade nuclear material? I can just imagine one of those FBI guys that are watching this site being startled out of his chair shouting, "Holy shit, we got one!"

I don't have a license to Import Airsoft. But Airsoft importers have the license, they have to. It makes Airsoft as a hobby in Canada quite expensive. I found this out when some people I know were trying to get the license.

Considering the situation, it's probably easier to go through the paperwork and background checks to import Firearms or be a Gunsmith than it is to import Airsoft. Clouding the issue more is that some Airsoft and Paintball guns are considered "Firearms" under Canadian Law.

...

DEAR GOD THERE ARE PINK MOHAWKS ON PARLIAMENT HILL!!!

Well, it's the only reason I can think of such weird laws being passed!
Stahlseele
Aside from most politicians and other people responsible for making and even upholding/enforcing laws having no idea of what the hell they are doing most of the time, of course . .
CanRay
Pink Mohawks in brown business suits.

Well, ya'll have cops up there that think MCT is a real life corporation, so...

I have just been fined one credit for a violation of the Verbal Morality Statute.

I have just been fined one credit for a violation of the Verbal Morality Statute. My repeated violation of the Verbal Morality Statute has caused the computer to notify the Police Department. Please remain where I are for my reprimand?

I have just realized the f***ers are fast, too.

Truly that movie helped define dystopian futures for me. All clean and shiny-shiny on the outside, but inside it is rotten to the core and full of maggots.
CanRay
Hey, Denis Leary may be a self-confessed asshole, but I'm not sure he goes all the way to Maggot... nyahnyah.gif

The former is why he's not the latter.

Well, only with GM intervention. Pink Mohawk and Ice Cold can't exist (fairly) in the same game world.

An Ice Cold™ game can totally go Pink Mohawk if you take them to a Feral City like Lagos or the CZ. The difference can be as simple as a change of venue.

Actually, I found the "Escape" movies did a good job as well. "Escape From New York" and "Escape From LA". Cyberpunk without the Cyber, really.

Oh, and Snake is pure Pink Mohawk!

This sounds like an album name for a punk band.

Also, I want a rat burger now.
CanRay
I want to make a Punk Band now. I already can't play a guitar or sing, first part is done.

Three chords and the truth, after all.

Snake?! SNAKE!!!!

Or did I get the wrong Snake? I find him to be more Black Trenchcoat with a few Pink Mohawk moments.
CanRay
Yes, wrong Snake. nyahnyah.gif

"Call me Plissken."

Those are his Spec-Ops Training kicking in moments. Other than those...

To be fair, Solid Snake is based very closely off of Snake Plissken.

Even the MilSpec cardboard box?

The eyepatch, shiny suit, and beard stubble certainly. Hair was a touch wild in the movie, though.

I'm sorry, which movie?
Yerameyahu
Demolition Man.
CanRay
Which I just got on a Multi-Movie DVD for cheap. I'll have to watch it again.

Still trying to figure out why they have loaded weapons in a museum. Functional is even a touch of a stretch... I know my local Armory Museums use deactivated weapons for display models. (Of course, a few minutes with a gunsmith and they'll be ready to rock and roll as soon as we can find enough .303 British Service to load into the Vickers!).

So, the only "flaw" you can see with the movie is because the weapons in the museum are functional AND loaded? REALLY? silly.gif

Never said it was the only one. Just the one the irks me the most. Personally, I'd also like to know what programming Jeffrey Dahmer was genetically-chosen for. nyahnyah.gif

It's a good "Turn your brain off and enjoy" movie. But the future scenes really, really, REALLY creep me out.
KarmaInferno
Well, it's a future where folks are so brainwashed they can't even conceive of anyone actually committing a murder, so...

And the sex is basically a shared (and really crappy) BTL chip. What gives?
CanRay
"I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing 'I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiener'." - Edger Friendly

Actually, he's a good example of Pink Mohawk and Punk.

No. This is the now. You will never see the future.
Xahn Borealis
Really? I could've sworn we officially live in what's known as the future. Cos our culture as it is now was mostly formed in the 80's and 90's, the way we live is so advanced so as to be 'The Future'.
Yerameyahu
Nope.

Wait, when will then be now? Soon! biggrin.gif

Colonel Sandurz: We passed then.
Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now. We're at now now.
Dark Helmet: Go back to then.
Colonel Sandurz: When?
Dark Helmet: Now.

They have Back to the Future Delorean Hotwheels at Walmart. I picked up two last week.
